@@shaqfufu8908 I find the longer it sits the louder it gets. I wore it yesterday, and it was pretty long lasting. I woke up this morning and could still smell it. I think sometimes new formulas need time to macerate in the full bottle if that makes sense.

We did airbnb at Fountain Bleu Hotel few years ago. It was perfect for family. They have multiple pools, the beach and great work out room and can rent bikes and its a safe area. They have the hotel but also the timeshare/ condo area is right beside it and cheaper for families to rent via air bnb. Have fun in Miami the kids will love to go downtown at night and great Cuban food district in old Miami- also safe

These all sound wonderful. I don't actually have that many perfumes I'd consider tropical, except for two new ones -- Vele by Tiziana Terenzi and Cruz dell Sur II by Xeroff. Vele has green notes and fir weaving in and out of tropical fruits and exotic plants, as well as florals (including ylang-ylang) in the middle notes. It is so changeable on me. I never know which notes will be more evident, depending on the weather and my skin. Mango guava and pineapple lead in Cruz, with mid notes of black currant, violet leaf and "exotic flowers." The unusual touch is milk and dried fruits in the base, along with with the more usual musk, vetiver and cedar.

Love these videos! I love that you are doing a video series on different notes. I've been searching around youtube trying to find videos on having a signature note rather than a signature scent. I love a tobacco note and have found that nothing else will do, unless it has that note in it. So, I'm hunting for different tobacco fragrance ideas for all of the seasons and all the reasons.

I’ve been wearing a lot of Dior lately (Love the countryside Mediterranean vibe of the new fig & rose fragrance Dioriviera, plus a lot of New Look 1947, and Gris Dior always anytime). Love BoraBora! I’ve been wearing Soleil Passion to the pool a bunch! ❤️🙏🙏🙏 and I need to order the M. Micallef sample sets. Hi, Chris! My fave luxurious tropical island (more like Caribbean island, not European) fragrance of the moment is Luna Dulcius by Accendis. I actually don't often love coconut fragrances, esp if they lean sunscreeny, but I love Luna Dulcius. I have also been wearing the new Sol de Janeiro Rio Radience, which has coconut. I love it, surprisingly, because I'm not an inexpensive body spray kind of woman.

Update: got my travel spray of St John and wore it yesterday. It was a little muskier than expected (the ambergris?) but both my daughter and husband gave unsolicited compliments (rarely happens), and it lasted forever. The tropical fruits in it smell great. What a joyfull selection you got here 🤗 tropical fruits/flowers / scents isn't always my thing, but from time to time I have a short obsession with them for a fiew days ^^ I have a recommandation for you ! Never tested the fragrance, but I absolutely LOVE the bottle 🤌, as well as the brand that I love deeply in my heart as I got my first "true" perfume with them, and also for the very intriguing notes, I recommand to you Magical Moon by Hanae Mori 🤗 tbh it sounds amazing, I really really want to sniff it one day !

Everyone has that one perfume that is something special. Mine is Guerlain Terracotta!!! The smell from the first spray is absolutely heavenly!! It’s not long lasting unfortunately about 4 hours. After 4 hours it turns into a skin scent. It’s been compared to Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess however to me it is far superior to Bronze Goddess. The scent is a stunner!!!

Well, I just got back from a resort vacay in Cabos and took travel and/or decants of Sel D’Argent, Beach Walk and Bal d’Afrique. I couldn’t get over how beautiful Sel d’Argent by BDK smells in a hot and tropical setting. The gentle floral and sweetness really came out with the fresh saltiness. Accompanied the floral scents in the air, the salty beach breeze and the fresh margaritas! It was a small decant of 2 ml, and now, of course, I’m planning on getting a FB!

My female boss wore EDEN ROC last week and I asked her, why especially THIS scent. She: "Because we stayed at the luxury EDEN ROC hotel in the south of france and the scent was made for THIS hotel." 😳❤❤❤❤❤❤

I think if you like Miami and ST johns you’l love this too .. and I think you might need a bottle 😂 I like that it’s not too sweet so it’s great for warm/hot weather … And it’s not an indolic jasmine

Thank you! Soleil Blanc is lovely and I had a bottle a few years ago; but I’m moving away from sunscreeny perfumes lately and I think TF is overpriced for the performance. Soleil Neige is pretty but reads colder months. 💕

It would be but for the sichuan pepper. I love it but it does add a nice kick. Might be too much for some ppl who love gauzy floral musks like yourself. 🤔🥰🥰🥰🥰

Really? The perfume was created for the Hotel Cap du Eden Roc in the French Riviera. I didn’t realize there is a similarly named hotel in Miami. Wow.

Have you tried Tales from Zanzibar yet? An amazing super long lasting guava perfume!

I have! It’s very well loved but for me…I prefer Sunplosion and St John. They are a little fruitier and sweeter (St. John).

What fragrance, in your opinion would you say embodies the Galapagos, best that you’ve tried? The geography is so beautifully rugged& remote, but the bananas, the bougainvilleas, the Galapagos cotton, the mangroves, the cactus trees, the playfulness of the wildlife. I’d love to hear what you feel conjures up that vibe best
