Luxor Las Vegas Walk - February 2024
Join me on a Friday night walk of the Luxor Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Luxor Las Vegas opened on October 1993 on the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip as an ancient Egyptian themed resort. Luxor has 4,497 hotel rooms and features a 30 story pyramid that is the 4th tallest in the world. On top of the pyramid is one of the brightest light beam in the world. Luxor is located on the Las Vegas Strip between Mandalay Bay and the Excalibur Las Vegas. Luxor Las Vegas is home to shows like Carrot Top, Fantasy, Blue Man Group, and America’s Got Talent presents Super Stars Live. It features attractions like BODIES | The Exhibition, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, and Discovering King Tut's Tomb. Play Playground opened on January 18, 2024 next to the Atrium Showroom. Play is an immersive playground with over 20 attractions. After 5PM, it is adults 21 and over only at Play.

Stayed here about 5yrs back, will be there again next week, can’t wait. It’s clean, safe, fun. Plus I love seeing people freak out about the shaky pyramid elevators.

That Tender Steakhouse (cough) deal looked 'interesting' - $160+ per person. Heading to the Luxor, 1st time in Vegas, in August. Busy watching the a bunch of buffet comparison videos.

I ate at the Tender Steakhouse twice. First time it was great, second time the steak 🥩 was subpar. I would skip the Luxor buffet. 0/3 for me there.
We stayed there from the 13th to the 16th of February this year. Plenty to do, and see in the hotel alone. Will definitely be returning.

It annoys me when people are like “ewww the Luxor is so gross”. Is it new? No. Is it as high end and service oriented as other hotels like Bellagio and Wynn? No. But is it a campy, fun, clean, and decent resort to visit? YES! I’ve stayed there several times and God willing I’m gonna stay there again.

Haha yeah, people forget it’s only $60 to $70 a night. Love the new play Playground and shows there.
My bachelor party is going to be in LV in the next month, and thats our hotel.

They closed the original King Tut museum in 2008. This exhibit opened in 2022.
