Just a heads up: Since the size update (October 2023) with half sizes the shoes run exactly like the Romaleos 4. So same EU/US/CHN sizes. Maybe that helps before ordering 👍🏻 At least this what I experienced, owning them for a few weeks now!

Do you know if Lu Xiao Jun is done making equipment? I see that Hansu Power is completely on their own now.

Yes they're definitely 2022 or 2021 even. They were sold on a Chinese website, don't remember which, with those Do win Hercules. I was scared to get them because no one talked about them, and they were not sold on lu's shop. So I thought they were fake. I ended up waiting and got Anta2. If I were sure at the time they were actual lx lifter I would have bought them. I don't think I'll look for lifter anytime soon. I don't even know what comes out now. Anta2 look like they will last.

Shenzhen weightlifting was the site, these are just the first versions of them. I have the “improved” ones that just came out and they’re similar minus the insoles.

That was them, yes. Still strange it was sold there without a mention or allusion to them on lu's site I think there are many problems with LXbarbell, marketing wise. By The Way, How about the Hercules from Do win? If there's one person that I thought would review them, it's you. No one reviewed them, ever. I don't understand it, because they look like some quality lifters. TYR L1 got 100s of reviewer and It was a bad buy for almost everyone who bought them LOL.

How does the heel height feel compared to the Anta 2 and Asics 727? I have the Asics 727 and Anta 2's, and even though they say the heel height is higher on the Anta's, the Asics heel feel significantly higher.

It doesn’t feel as high as the ANTA 2, but it feels higher than 21mm heels. The midfoot feels higher than most shoes. IMO the 727 feels lower.

@@AMRAP Interesting. To me the 727 feels much higher than the Antas, but maybe that is just because the angle is more extreme from heel to toe? All I know is I am a long legged lifter, and the 727's feel way better in the bottom position than the antas.

@@AMRAP being a person with incredibly poor ankle mobility, buying the anta 2 was probably the best thing I've ever done. I can literally feel my knees not having the same problems I've had with Sabo Powerlift, so I'm gonna be a bit skeptic about Lu Xiaojun's. If I may suggest, you could try a video comparison of the heel height, by simply squatting with the same stance (putting some tape or some chalk on the floor to be sure it's exactly the same) and check, like from the side, how far the knees go forward.

How do they compare to the Orginal anta 1s Is the heel height the Same ?

Heel height should be higher; the first was never announced but most people will agree it’s similar to rom2. I prefer the original ANTAs personally but they’re a good stand in if you can’t get the OGs
