Oh, so BEAUTIFUL - and seemingly Zero Wastage! Luthering, building seems to have a side to it that creates terrible waste of a precious resource. Like ebony in the violin family - about time we really looked for substitute. But this is Beautiful, Look at him cutting the fret holes on the fingerboard - no jig to be seem just a tenon saw. Maybe this is "normal" but I am impressed.

If any guitar should be on the market for many sheckles... it should be this guitar and this technique that built it. Every single avenue of originality and practicality of the art was utilized. So.. rest assured, the buyer has payed for a working piece of art. Hell, I could stare at his bracing alone! Good job sir.

Amazing! Some of the designs and techniques are truly unique. I have been around guitars for 50 years and he is doing things I have never seen before. Wish someone had played it so we could have heard what it sounded like. Craftsman no doubt.

Sos un genio man!! Aquí se aplica la frase "con lo poco que hay mucho se puede". Tengo mi taller de carpinteria/ebanisteria y siempre pospongo el proyecto de arrancar a fabricarme un bajo eléctrico por el hecho de que no tengo ciertas maquinas o herramientas de lutheria, pero vos me demostraste en este video que con ganas e ingenio se puede lograr mucho. Artista es lo que eres .me gusta tu trabajo amo las guitarras ,tu trabajó es artesanal muy a mano y eso le da mas valor realmente hermoso te saludo de Costa Rica.
That’s what you call craftsmanship. My grandfather could have built a guitar like that. He could straight edge a piece of material with a pocket knife and his eyeball better than most people using a machine and all the latest technology. Now me, I would be in straight jacket about half way a project like that.

Simplemente excelente, una cosa es fabricar guitarras a nivel industrial como lo hace Yamaha, otra cosa es armar una guitarra con mucha pasión, con amor, a mano, paso a paso, viendo nacer un instrumento, afinando hasta la madera para ese sonido único. Eso es arte en su máxima expresión.

Yamaha como cualquier otra empresa TOP mundial tiene sus guiitarras gama alta hechas artesanalmente por luthiers experimentados, no se a que viene tu comentario para resaltar el trabajo de alguien menospreciando el trabajo de otros. Lo que es hablar desde la ignorancia.

@@BluesnG Mercedes Benz hace excelentes carros, por manos expertas y producción en masa, donde cada persona hace un trabajo específico, el que dobla las latas hace solamente eso y jamás va a ver ese carro salir de la planta porque salen en masa. Morgan fábrica autos, uno a uno, el grupo le coloca la pasión, el que lo inicia a fabricar lo termina y le coloca a todo su sello personal, no tienen línea de producción. Dijo una persona que distingo: EL QUE ENTENDIÓ ENTENDIÓ

What craftsmanship! For some reason it just always seems awkward to me to build guitars top-down instead of bottom-up, especially a steel string guitar, but he masters it.

Hay técnicas de construcción que como dice el comentario de más abajo, son propios de la construcción de guitarras clásicas, como por ejemplo, el pie del mástil en el taco, que normalmente se hace en guitarras clásicas. En mi experiencia, igual tiene mucha importancia, pero es poco ortodoxo en cuanto a la técnica de construcción de las guitarras acústicas de cuerda metálica. A su vez, la ventaja que tiene el sistema de ensamble de mástil tipo "cola de milano" o el de "Bolt on" es que si de alguna manera el mástil se fractura y no puede rescatarse, ese tipo de ensamble permite reemplazarlo completamente. Eché de menos el tornillo tensor, que es súper importante para la alineación del diapasón. La versión original de la McPherson tiene las vigas internas de la tapa hechas de abeto prensado con fibra de carbono. Me sorprendió que se animara a hacerlo idéntico... Supongo que la doble tapa tiene compensación de espesores? Sino, muy linda queda, pero suena menos que una piedra... Las medidas eran las mismas que la McPherson? Existe algún vídeo donde se haga muestra de su sonido? Está muy interesante!

Fascinante, debo decir que pareciera que pedacitos de mi fe fueron reconstruyendose con cada fase de fabricación de esta guitarra. Pude casi sentir el aroma de la madera y el pegamento y el viejo taller. Aun creo, debo creer, que regresare, rompere candados, abriré ventanas y me dedicaré a construir, sin la maestría de este hombre, pero con ese mismo gozo... esa misma calma. Excelente, gracias!

There is nothing wrong with that. You can carve the neck before or after gluing. Both methods are acceptable. I prefer before gluing.

Tengo mi taller de carpinteria/ebanisteria y siempre pospongo el proyecto de arrancar a fabricarme un bajo eléctrico por el hecho de que no tengo ciertas maquinas o herramientas de lutheria, pero vos me demostraste en este video que con ganas e ingenio se puede lograr mucho. That’s what you call craftsmanship. My grandfather could have built a guitar like that. He could straight edge a piece of material with a pocket knife and his eyeball better than most people using a machine and all the latest technology. Now me, I would be in straight jacket about half way a project like that.

Simplemente excelente, una cosa es fabricar guitarras a nivel industrial como lo hace Yamaha, otra cosa es armar una guitarra con mucha pasión, con amor, a mano, paso a paso, viendo nacer un instrumento, afinando hasta la madera para ese sonido único. Eso es arte en su máxima expresión.

Yamaha como cualquier otra empresa TOP mundial tiene sus guiitarras gama alta hechas artesanalmente por luthiers experimentados, no se a que viene tu comentario para resaltar el trabajo de alguien menospreciando el trabajo de otros. Lo que es hablar desde la ignorancia.

@@BluesnG Mercedes Benz hace excelentes carros, por manos expertas y producción en masa, donde cada persona hace un trabajo específico, el que dobla las latas hace solamente eso y jamás va a ver ese carro salir de la planta porque salen en masa. Morgan fábrica autos, uno a uno, el grupo le coloca la pasión, el que lo inicia a fabricar lo termina y le coloca a todo su sello personal, no tienen línea de producción. What craftsmanship! For some reason it just always seems awkward to me to build guitars top-down instead of bottom-up, especially a steel string guitar, but he masters it.
Hay técnicas de construcción que como dice el comentario de más abajo, son propios de la construcción de guitarras clásicas, como por ejemplo, el pie del mástil en el taco, que normalmente se hace en guitarras clásicas. En mi experiencia, igual tiene mucha importancia, pero es poco ortodoxo en cuanto a la técnica de construcción de las guitarras acústicas de cuerda metálica. A su vez, la ventaja que tiene el sistema de ensamble de mástil tipo "cola de milano" o el de "Bolt on" es que si de alguna manera el mástil se fractura y no puede rescatarse, ese tipo de ensamble permite reemplazarlo completamente. Eché de menos el tornillo tensor, que es súper importante para la alineación del diapasón. La versión original de la McPherson tiene las vigas internas de la tapa hechas de abeto prensado con fibra de carbono. Me sorprendió que se animara a hacerlo idéntico... Supongo que la doble tapa tiene compensación de espesores? Sino, muy linda queda, pero suena menos que una piedra... Las medidas eran las mismas que la McPherson? Existe algún vídeo donde se haga muestra de su sonido? Está muy interesante!

Fascinante, debo decir que pareciera que pedacitos de mi fe fueron reconstruyendose con cada fase de fabricación de esta guitarra. Pude casi sentir el aroma de la madera y el pegamento y el viejo taller. Aun creo, debo creer, que regresare, rompere candados, abriré ventanas y me dedicaré a construir, sin la maestría de este hombre, pero con ese mismo gozo... esa misma calma. Excelente, gracias!

There is nothing wrong with that. You can carve the neck before or after gluing. Both methods are acceptable. I prefer before gluing.
