I love Luther Vandross. Amazing voice!!!

I remember a time when we actually listened to music like this and it was a constant stream of quality from talent like these two. Such a beautiful reminder of how lucky some of us were there to experience it.

I was born in 1980 and hearing Luther Vandross again it's a good feeling he has one of the best voices male vocals rest in peace to the king of RNB Luther Vandross 1951-2005

One of the best love songs, it touch my heart

I've heard many versions of this amazing song, but as sure as the sky is blue, THIS. IS. the BEST. version!!! We love you, Luther!!!!

Luther and Mariah's version is taken from Vandross' covers album Songs, released September 1994. Both singers recorded on the Sony label back then. Sony wanted to maximize sales of Luther's record and Mariah was in between studio albums Music Box and Daydream. Her now infamously famous 1st Christmas album was being released at the time. In other words, she didn't need this hit on one of her records at the time.. Luther did.

She was so fine back early in her career before all the enhancements

One of my favorite songs. For some reason it hits different than other songs. This version is the best. Two natural gems at their very best.
