In this episode, notice how every time Luther sees Alice, he goes to see his wife immediately after because of what she tells him. Luther has a whole team of detectives working on her, but Alice only has herself. Just another example of her brilliance and the writers'

The Affair maybe in which she is absolutely brilliant

Idris elba is the true defintion of British man with class and more class with more manliness..Combined one in a million the ultimate one in a million..Actor man..Proud to be British..born in United Kingdom..

The dialog is amazing And, their characterizations were maxed out!

Luther is the best tv show out there. The writing is amazing and the characters are beautifully acted. I'm so excited the third season just started. You have to see it.

Fantastic scene on so many levels.

funny that they ran away together 2 season later at the exact same location overlooking the Thames.

But more to the point both Londoners and New Yorkers look out for their own--if someone is being assaulted in broad daylight the likelihood that someone will intervene is far higher in London than it would be in most less densely populated places

I am not from London, so I had to google this ('cause I have no life at this weird moment). It says 16 min walk. She looks pretty psyched, so she made giant strides. They both could have covered the distance in 10. Why would the knife have to be in a plain view for the whole trip?

When you've seen quality of this calibre, as well as The Wire, True Detective, Better Call Saul etc you can never have patience for things like She-Hulk and Rings of Power. Never.

He's big in the UK and I heard he likes going back. Plus, the bbc shows are like movies too because each season(series) only has around 4-8 episodes for 1hr-1hr30 mins depending on the series.

Mate, I have been in a Narciscistic relationship for 4 years. You don't want that. At the end you start doubting your own reality like a mad person after gaslighting from the Narciscist. I was unintentionally grew rocking her not knowing and she discarded me for a new victim. It was a blessing in disguise. Hi what I believe it meant was that Alice asks why love if all it makes us is corrupt, well, Luther answers the question by throwing the remnants of the gun on the ground to show the futility of not showing love.

I think that after she questions the sense of love, he realizes that she is right. That's why he takes out of pocket the remnants of the gun that we all believed were thrown in the Thames with the urn. Luther throws it to her because he knows she needs them and he will not use it against her.
