Prophet Abraham AS left Egypt accompanied by his nephew Lut AS, who then went to the city of Sadum, which was on the western shore of the Dead Sea. This city was filled with evil. Its residents waylaid, robbed and had indecent behaviour, It was at the height of these crimes and sins that Allah revealed to Prophet Lut AS that he should summon the people to give up their indecent behaviour, but they were so deeply sunk in their immoral habits that they were deaf to Lot's preaching.

It was difficult for the angels to live as humans. Haroot and Maroot as example. They were placed on earth and given the desire of humans. Look at what happend. It's not easy being us normal Humans let alone a Prophet

Lut a.s wife betrayed him by going into the city and informing them that there is two beautiful angels in lut a.s they barged in and tried to r word them so they had to flee
Salam, i just have a question, what happened to the children? And if hypothetically a citizen wanted to escape and one of the angels caught them, would they kill them off? I’m not trying to mock as a muslim i sincerely am curious because that scenario would seem to brutal.

Allah is capable of all things and He is not unjust, so I'm sure that He saved them or prohibited them from taking damage.

The people that are involved in such acts can't reproduce children's 🙂 and the people that believed in Lut A.s were already protected and they went with lut A.S that night.

Wa Alaykum Salam. The children of Pompeii were not spared, therefore I can only assume the children of Sodom and Gamora were also not spared, otherwise the angel Jibreel would have mentioned that to Prophet Abraham or Prophet Lut. The thing is that, God is just and would never burden a soul for sins they did not commit or understand nor for things out of their control like being born/raised by deviants, so it is basically guaranteed that the children who perished in these grand events are in Paradise, meanwhile the adults who understood and rejected the Prophets are in Hell. God gave these people so much time to repent and sent many Prophets to guide them rightly, but they were never going to change, so God destroyed them.

Also I don't think any citizen survived this event because angel Jibreel said its his job to destroy these people (also it could be that the children were made to perish before the punishment came) and angel Jibreel only spoke of saving Prophet Lut and his family (except his wife). They escaped in the night or early morning before the punishment was delivered and only Prophet's Lut family was warned, so nobody else would think to run away as they were likely sleeping or unaware of what was coming to them that day.

We really don't get an inside on what happens to children in stories like these But in case they where killed we can assume that allah would not punish pure children by making them suffer And after all Children who haven't reached puberty will enter heavens if they die And thats a known fact
Jibreal a.s lifted up the town of lut a.s with tip of his wings and slammed the town down and turning it in to sand
They tried to do black magic on Muhammad saw but it failed coz he's pure and sacrad and holy
i wish allah did this again now

Pompeii, Italy is the nation mention in the Quran as Lut nation.

Pompeii was destroyed in 79 (after creation) which is still a gap between the Jesus Christ (peace may be upon him) and the prophet Muhammad (peace maybe upon him)
