    this is why PCGS is way better than NGC. They not only care about the coins, but also the collector.

    I don't agree with much of this. The 1917 has character. I'm not quite sure why the coin has to blind you to be appealing.

    My thoughts too. I have some coins with a Matte type finish that I like very much. I have Morgans with a mirror finish and they are nice but some of my less reflective Morgans give me a feel of 1880s-90s silver work for some reason.

    not true. the strikes are just different between newer dies and worn out ones
