    Great video man! I think the air bubbles add depth to the eye, and are not a detractant at all! Nice stuff!

    You can heat some epoxies to help with bubbles.

    Yeah but this particular epoxy will burn pretty easily and cause it to set fast and turn yellow and lumpy.

    What a wonderful and inexpensive technique! If the water level changes I'd be back to the scene of the crime to find the lure. (BTW .. nice ink).

    The pictures of the eyes were just found on google and made black and white. Then just copied the image a bunch of times.

    Print on a specific printer? All of my efforts to find the eyes have been difficult at best. Can you recommend a site or sites? I really like your work. Thanks

    Try the BSI again for the eyes but thin it with some Everclear. That's what I use to clear my baits and it seems like the bubbles pop a lot quicker.

    I’ll have to give that a shot. Since the video I actually tried UV resin and it worked much better.

    nothing like making the whole bait an catching fish with it.i got to doing this as a kid nothing like winning tournments with your own ideas.My son would have went swimming for that lure if it caught fish LMAO

    U get water slide printer paper I just tried this took the same eyes u molded cut the white off the back with a razor blade then cut the same size circle out of holographic material I have but the apoxy I'm using has way to Manny bubbles.im thinking about going with nail polish or the uv nail polish

    Yeah I was having the same problems with the resin I have. Try the uv resin/nail polish. I’ve seen some good results with that. Either that or you’ll need to get a pressure pot to put the resin in to get the bubbles out.

    A blow torch, heat gun or hair dryer will get rid of those bubbles.

    Yeah I tried that but it only did so much before over heating the resin.

    I beg to differ with your negative appraisal of this video. It's the first one I've seen that results in TRULY three-dimensional eyes. Sincere thanks for sharing your technique. Even though you had trouble with tiny bubbles, the final eyes look EXCELLENT. Is there any chance you'd be willing to post a link to the "doll eyes" you made the mold from? Ditto the especially nice holographic tape you used.

    I don’t know what ppr is. I just did a google search for fishing lure eyes and saved some photos then made them black and white and printed them. It’s pretty simple.

    I just copied different images from google and pasted them all in a photo app and switched everything to grayscale. I’ll have a new eye making video eventually that shows the process

    holographic film + women's UV nail polish + UV lamp = 10 minutes and a whole bunch of fish eyes are ready.
