love Pollack fishing..the big ones put Bass to shame..no thrashing about on the surface just a missile heading for the rocks and cabbage lol

yeah..awesome fish..been destroyed by some big ones round Far Leesons..went home with a smile on my face 🙂

@@neilmitchell9767 got to be up there with some of the best marks, if you go south where’s the next proper rock mark ? North wales at a guess ?

I think you were losing some fish because you were setting the hook. Sounds counterintuitive but just keep reeling when you feel them knocking and theyll swallow that eel whole! This works better as pollock suck their food in rather than biting it. Youll lose very few doing this.

Cracking video mate. Quick question can you feel the bites okay with weight being higher up ??

Thanks, yea you can feel the bites fairly well. Obviously you catch the bottom a bit so any resistance I treat as a fish usually.

Sorry for the late reply, they are jelly baitfish with weighted jig heads! Yeah pollock are great fun!
