I have made some laser cut baits myself. Your process was almost exactly like what I did. But your finish work was much better than mine.

That is a pretty cool build. I have 3 of those brushes, I have had nothing but good luck with them so far. First one I got about a year ago.

I like the lure and the techniques used. Luehr turned out great you really should dump the background music though.

started resin printing my lure lips with clear resin, don't think i'm ever going back to acrylic.

Hi, great video, what's the laser cutter you are using?

Just cover the polycarbonate in masking tape for the laser cutter.

I noticed you used the Minwax polyurethane to seal the wood. Could you also use that as your finishing clear coat as well? If not.. why the resin vs polyurethane?

Which laser do you have?

Adding holes for alignment pins would stop the pieces moving.

Thinking about making a wake bait with a joint. Might have it as a similar shape 🤷‍♂️

Nice job on the bait. I would try to find a way to get the air out of the epoxy though as it looks like it clouded that paint scheme.
