Luray Caverns, Luray VA
Come with us as we take a Luray Caverns Tour. Luray Caverns (located in Luray VA) are the largest cavern system in the Eastern United States! While we didn't get lost in the vast caverns, we almost got lost in the Luray Garden Maze, the largest hedge maze in the Mid-Atlantic states, with 500 Evergreen hedges that create a half-mile pathway that diverges at over 40 points!
In this video, we take you on a visual tour of the caverns, showing some of the most beautiful of the formations, and ending up in a huge cavern containing the Great Stalacpipe Organ - the world’s largest musical instrument. It literally makes stalactites sing by gently tapping them throughout three acres of the caverns, and has hosted many weddings and other events over the years!
We then venture into the Luray Garden Maze, where Lorie and I fight to get out before dehydrating in the 95F weather! It was like a scene from the Shining!

Great video! We loved Luray when we went a number of years ago but don’t remember the maze (if they had it). That looks like it was a great time although a little cooler weather might be better haha!

Love your review of the garden maze, and since it will be 90° when we are there this weekend, we might have to skip it haha

Nah you can do it! Take water along and hang out by the misters if you get hot.. they are everywhere! Just go in the morning before it gets hot..then cool off in the caverns!
