5 or 10 minute yoga every day was very beneficial. I couldn't move much before, way too much pain.... so much better now.

This video is informational and I have been wondering about NAC as a Lupus SLE patient. These triggers have sent me to a bedridden state, with severe fatigue, and severe joint pain. I paid out of pocket last year ($200-$270) for an IV of glutathione, vitamin D and C. I noticed a dramatic difference. It was just too expensive to maintain. I hope NAC can help manage these crazy symptoms in conjunction with Hydroxychloroquine.

Wow, this video is hot off the press! Recently diagnosed with SLE in addition to the RA which I've had for 20+ years. I have been hospitalized for over a month with pleural effusion from the SLE, and am being treated with high dose prednisone, which is working but I want to get off it as quickly as possible. This video helped me envision what I can expect in the future and what things -- not only taking meds -- are important. I couldn't have imagined NAC would help lupus, but the explanation and data provided were persuasive. I am a lot more hopeful now than I was before I saw this video, and I know I have to take an active role in beating this disease. Thank you so much for this video.

I was a lupus patient with you in the late 90’s and early 2000’s and then left and have traveled around. Now I live in NC. I have a great internist but have not been able to find a suitable rheumatologist in years and things are kind of a mess.

When I exercise; it makes my face turn tomato red, it also exhausts me, and I end up being down for two days after I am down. Should I suggest Antifrolumob? I do take high dose EPA 1200mg - In form of Omega 3 form fish oil it also has higher dose of DHA 900 mg. 4080 mg fish oil. I do try to walk three times a day. Not much over 2 miles a day. But it’s what I can tolerate.

This would be a solid video if not for the obvious, grotesque pleasure this guy gets out of humbling a patient he has quite a bit of power over - repeatedly stressing in the video how humbling her turned her from a frowny black woman to a happy smiley black woman and gloating over how she was forced to beg to come back to his practice. Rheumatologists are thin on the ground. Really goes to show how doctors can get away with absolutely repulsive attitudes toward patients.
