Its amazing that after so long in EV existence, there is almost no one that elaborated how the AC system works and why the glass roof is needed. I think Elon did mention a little bit about it. But there was never a mention that it was related to the AC system. Seems like this video is the pioneer to elaborate about this! Great content!

制热能力，电车不如油车，因为油车引擎本身就不停发热，可以将这些热量加以利用，所以油车”制热“不成问题，效率很高，相比之下，电车制热效率就不高了；但说到制冷，电车油车两者差别不大。

Great coverage on a rarely covered topic on EV HVAC systems! Now I understand why my EV comes with a sunroof. I love the fact that my BZ4X sunroof cover can be opened or closed depending on the weather. I just have a couple questions: 1. Do EV automatic HVAC systems have humidity sensors in addition to temperature sensors? HVAC systems tend to run lower fan speeds for more dehumidification needs and higher fan speeds for more cooling needs. I'm just wondering if EV makers already thought about this. 2. Would inverter heat pump variable electric compressors help with humidity management? 3. Older gas cars only had A/C button to engage the compressor and a lever / knob to control the flow of engine coolant going to the heater core. How did these systems managed to keep the cabin comfortable?
