Lunchtime fun - SuperBike Factory - Milton Keynes

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A well needed lunchtime break from the PC and the grind!!! This time popped up to SuperBike Factory in Milton Keynes. It's classed as Europe's biggest Motorcycle dealer and oh boy are they right... This place is massive!!
The Buckinghamshire premises is the latest addition to a rapidly growing network of showrooms, with the firm having opened their fourth location, in Bristol, in early January.
“Whilst Superbike Factory is a true online digital retailer… some riders love the experience of being able to see and touch their next bike - which is one of the main reasons why we are rolling out our expansion plan,” said CEO Scott Behrens.
He added: “It’s a really exciting time for the company and our customers, as we have further showrooms scheduled to open this year, following the opening of our South West showroom in Bristol last month, our Buckinghamshire showroom in Milton Keynes this month, after which our Hampshire showroom will open its doors. This paves the way for a further four showrooms in 2024.”

It was too tempting not to become the 300th Subscriber. I went around the Donington Park branch of the Superbike Factory, some nice bikes, some sheds.

That so cool… Thanks for the Sub. A famous, and very awesome, KZread channel became the magic number 300! I’m super honoured! 😀☺️Regarding super bike factory… I guess you need to be clever and know what to look for. One good thing though is that they don’t even bother to clean the bikes, let alone tart them up to make a shed look like a super model.. That way you get to see them as they were looked, or some cases not looked after, by the previous owner.

Kudos to their marketing team. I've never heard of them and I think I live in the same town as you.

I only found out by chance… Still, they have a massive selection of bikes.

Ive bought a few bikes from them and while I do think the prices are decent I would not advise selling them your bike unless you are happy with taking a big loss for convenience. I assume its how they squeeze a decent profit margin. My experience has been ok but not amazing.

It does look like a ‘motorbike supermarket’ so I can quite well believe you about prices… It is impressive though the amount of bikes they have. Makes a nice lunchtime outing though 😊

Your probably looking at least a 3 or maybe 6 points for riding with no hands on the bars, if a copper spots you, how do i know ?, i got done in 1970 for it ,"Not having proper control of a motor vehicle" plus you only need a decent pothole or an animal to run out in front of you and your down.

Speeding has no finacial gain. Take a look at the costs associated with every single serious collision and come back and tell us. Plus we still see an average of around 5 people killed and 5 seriously injured on UK roads daily - those seriously injured sometimes can no longer work so we all pay towards their future care. Also stationary traffic due to incidents costs businesses (and therefore us) billions. Sure not all colisikns are caused by excess speed BUT excess speed directly corresponds to the outcome and therefore cost. Plus, it's peoples choice to break a law and therefore accept they may be fined. Sadly that choice can also affect others. When someone in your family is hit by a speeding driver you might finally realise why we have laws for road use and you might question why you were belittling the whole thing?

If you believe the government are investing in the massive increase in cameras, for the good of the community you are sadly wrong... They are no longer able to police bad driving due to a massive reduction in Policing!! Whilst excessive speed kills so does uninsured, drunk, doped up, and drivers with no licences. The later are less likely to get caught due to a fall in traffic police on the roads... Roads, that by the way, are so badly kept that I'm more likely to disappear in a hole in the road than hit by a speeding driver! So, why go after drunk idiots with no insurance when they can make a few quid out of the poor taxi driver who's lost his job for doing 23 in a 20 that's been a 30 for the last 50 years?? Don't make me laugh mate! Oh, and as for the 20mph limits!! That's a bloody con...
