Lunar Lunacy Addendum: A Response to a Flat-Earther Video

I made a response video the other day dealing with two videos by MrThriveAndSurvive (links below). I wish I had waited a little bit, because the video MrThriveAndSurvive made immediately following those two has something in it that, well ... kind of deflates the main argument MrThriveAndSurvive made in his second video.
In the first of his two videos, he makes a peculiar assertion about the nature of the Earth's shadow on the Moon during a lunar eclipse. I commented, perhaps rudely, saying his viewpoint from the Sun was "pretty flawed". After I commented, he produced a "Part 2" video, apparently intended to clarify his point. That video only confused me further, however. Part 2 dealt primarily with the famous "Earthrise" photo taken by the crew aboard Apollo 8.

+MrThriveAndSurvive See the video description for links to my original response video as well as MrThriveAndSurvive's original videos. Originally, I was going to include in this addendum some discussion of the alleged edits in the NASA "Earthrise" image -- the "box" around the Earth that is allegedly revealed when one examines the photograph in Photoshop. However, I decided that the Earthrise discussion made this video longer than I wanted it to be, so I ended up cutting that. I located the image on NASA's website (link in description) and examined it myself and can find absolutely no indication that the image has ever been tampered with. I don't think that will change any minds however, as Flat-Earthers will merely retort that NASA has been alerted to the discovery of these edits and have surreptitiously uploaded a fresh image to cover their tracks. Whether or not MrThriveAndSurvive has seen my response video or will see this addendum, I don't know. I tagged him in this comment, but I haven't placed links to either my original response or this addendum in the comments of his videos as I think that would be too rude on my part. Nevertheless, MrThriveAndSurvive, if you are reading this, you are welcome to retort if you wish to do so.
Go get 'em LV! Everyone knows the Earth isn't flat anymore. :) These videos are a lot of fun. (I like the ones with narration better)

+John Preuss You would be surprised: These flat-Earthers are experiencing a strange 21st century resurgence at the moment. Anyway, I put this channel together to debunk pseudo-science bullshit topics. I'm focusing on these guys at the moment, but I'll probably branch out into other things eventually.
