Lumumba Speaks | On The History of Pan-Africanism

In this 2021 speech, Pan-African scholar Professor PLO Lumumba gave a comprehensive history of Pan-Africanism, from its infancy to the present. He added what Pan-Africanism could look like for Africa.
Lumumba touched on the visions of Africa's first post-colonial leaders, such as Ghana's first president and prime minister, Kwame Nkrumah, and Tanzania's first president, Julius Nyerere. Lumumba revealed these leaders did not always agree on how Pan-Africanism could be implemented, causing what he described as a split on the continent.
Have a watch and, as always, leave us your thoughts.

I think its time to bring back every black man and woman with therekids back home from these white people lands Especially a place here like Belize! We're isolated n have no real reason here.. please someone highlight this bcaz we need this revolution🙋🏿‍♂️ We're tired of building these people country here.

I'm in America so I can't speak to your situation specifically....I will say that the first goal should be gathering what was stolen and taking it back with us. Africa is a diverse place but many are still recovering from their own trauma. When we go home we need to take as much as we can with us. ✌🏾

Technically speaking, Botswana was never coolonized either. They were occupied as a British Protectorate, but this occupation actually stopped the Germans from colonizing Botswana. PLO Lumumba correctly brings up France's refusal to leave, but the Arabs never left either. Even worse, Arabs are leaders of African countries (Libya, Egypt, Morocco,etc.)..how?!?!
