Very helpful Ben, and confirms exactly the sort of thing I've found over the past week. Replacement of objects or people is common and not easy to overcome. I have found that where this happens, if I also attempt to erase something else, and inconsequential, in a different part of the photo, the erase attempt is more successful. I hope your contact with Skylum results in a tidy-up! Meanwiul, my success rate with fairly easy erase attempts is around 60%! Cleaning up with the single Erase tool can tidy things up like the bar you demonstrated, and more "murky" patches where the GenErase was successful. BTW, Anthony Turnham posted the video about contrast issues.

You did not understand the limitation of the area to delete objects.

I really like this feature, Luminar NEO mother in law erase :)

1, I moved away from Adobe because of the subscription base, and Skylum seemed a good option to replace Lr. How wrong was I? 2, Did you know that all of the Ai technology is scanning the billions/trillions of images uploaded to the web. If you upload your own image into Ai software, it keeps that image as a reference for future use. 3, Out of all the software out there I still go back to Affinity Photo by Serif for 90% of my editing and will always stay with them. thank you for sharing your thoughts on Gen Ai

Thanks for watching Bramel and sharing that. Yes, everything is completely changing, and it will continue to. It makes me wonder what it will be like in the next 3-5 years' time.
