I’ve got lumberjack tools never let me down I’ve got the ts1800 table saw very nice bit of kit a bench drill mitersaw nail gun hand planer 4” sander 1/2” router and some others other than the thermal protection kicking in on table saw there’s nothing that is wrong with them. I’m looking at putting a router into the table saw. I’m still learning a newbie still fitting out my shed trying to build benches for first time but can’t fault them lumberjack customer service is second to none next day delivery I give them 150 out of 10. But I’m just starting out working with wood I want to get a lathe to try turning

Well done Jeff great vid the discussion of cheap and expensive will never go away but non the less you tackled it very well I use the evolution saw and find it far better than a lot of the cheaper ones once dialled in it’s perfect. As for lumberjack tools I use the BDE 1200 vac absolutely top notch but the router table leaves a lot to be desired keep up the great work my friend

I've got the lumberjack extractor too. Superb. Especially if you add 3m of soil pipe 😉👍

That Lumberjack saw looks like the Bosch GTS10J, like identical. Subframe, fence everything looks the same. I see the LJ version has a 2000W motor vs the 1800 for the Bosch. The subframe looks like it’s missing the little tab to hook onto the (very handy) floor stand but that’s the only visible clue to any difference. My Bosch saw is such a little workhorse but it’s getting on a bit and if this LJ saw is basically a Bosch underneath…. well wouldn’t that be fantastic.

Hey Jeff good saw review, pity I'm not still in the UK. BTW, considering how long it's been since I saw you last, you hair is doing rather well, thought you'd have a wide parting by now ;-)

I'm considering a lumberjack table saw.(Not the one you are showing) I was just wondering if you wanted to upgrade it to make a better cut to buy freud blades? I have done this on my festool plunge saw and my dewalt mitre saw. The cut seems to be much better. I am going to be making kitchen counter tops and cabinets, plus wardrobe beds ect. The other option I thought of was to get the festool 85 circular saw and guide rails and connectors. Basically I have got to the stage where I need to upgrade my tools for something that will be more heavy duty. I am in a flat so I am limited to space and there is the issue of how you get a cast iron table saw that weighs 75kg up a number of stairs. Same problem when trying to find a bandsaw. Got to think of the weight of it on the joists.😂
