I saw so many kittens born and all from my own cats. Loved watching and the momma's always let me handle the kittens right away. So they were never scared of people.

It's always amazing to see a cat mom knowing exactly what to do, by instinct alone. Shortly before one of my pets was about to give birth, she jumped into my bed with me, for familiar comfort.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this as well...this morning.....My baby gave birth to 5 kittens as well...this morning...I think I was more nervous then she was....I had to pull it together, just so she remained calm...It was truly an experience to see...Mother & Kitterns are both doing fine & resting.....Congrats Lulu....To Your New Family As Well.....

Nice informative video, and now its spay time for Lulu the cat to keep her disease free while prolonging her life a bit longer.

After giving birth to her kittens, my cat passed what I realized was the after-birth. I'd never seen one before, it was less messy than I expected. My cat seemed stressed right after giving birth, so I put the after-birth in the frig to keep fresh. All the kittens learned to latch and nurse, and my cat calmed down during the next hour. When all the kittens were sleeping with bellies full of milk, I cut it into small pieces, and warmed it in the microwave for just a.few seconds. I brought it on a saucer to my cat where she was in her nesting box with her kittens. Her eyes got big and she gobbled it down with more gusto than I ever saw her do before. The after-birth contains special nutrients that help the mother heal, and encourage milk production. I recommend doing this for your pets. I brought her food and water in her nest for three days. Then, I think she saw me as a kind of co-parent after that. On the third day she hoped out of the nest, turned and looked me directly in the eyes and did not look away for an unusual amount of time. I suddenly felt she was communicating with me. It felt like she was saying, "You're in charge of them until I get back." She suddenly turned quickly and ran out the door. She returned in about twenty minutes, and she never left her kittens unless I was in the room after that.

LuLu looks like she’s a good mommy, taking care to clear the kittens airways, to clear the afterbirth from each kitty, keeping the kitties all together so that they can stay warm and be safe, and to keep the box clean and dry. I want a kitty so bad!

She was smart enough to give birth on the floor to ensure her babies had a comfortable and dry bed. This Scottish Fold has partial flat ears. Which indicates that she is NOT truly a purebred Scottish Fold. Wherever he got this cat, he got screwed. It is NOT difficult to fake feline lineage paperwork. It is best to have DNA testing on all litters. That's what my breeder had done to prove her litter. My Scottish Fold had completely flat ears. Hands not paws, and did not meow, but talked due to the shortened vocal cords from the Cartilage disease that started this breed. A true Scottish Fold will never give birth to more than 3-4 kittens, and all kittens will have flattened ears.

I loved my Scottish Fold, Tessa She was so beautiful. She didn't have paws......she had hands. Literally! She could pick up pencils and all small objects. And she didn't meow. She talked, as the shortened cartilage does something to the vocal cords. Her Vet said that pure bred, true Scottish Folds will have shorter vocal cords due to the cartilage defect that created the breed. Thus, true pure breds will always have completely flattened ears, hands, not paws, and speak not meow. I miss my Tessa. She was a true lady.

I am not a good guy and not very social competent but I love animals and for some unknown reason they like me too. I get tears in my eyes, seeing this here, they are all so cute and the mother too. I have 5 cats too, all rescued by me and they are all nice and special in their own way. I could tell blindfolded which one who is One of them, if he do something wrong and he knows he was bad, he runs in a way, the sound itself makes me know that he was the „bad guy“ I look like someone from „Sons of Anarchy“ and then most of my pictures on my phone are from cats and dogs 😂 I wish you and these sweet cats all the best. May they live good, stay healthy and live long. ❤
