Well punch me in the face, I tear up just reading the lyrics to this. I don't get how anyone could hate Pete when he writes stuff like this for his son. It's so gentle and nice and my God - it relaxes me so much, I could actually fall asleep just listening to it? It's an actual, functional lullaby, and it's just so great.

Roger Rabbit It is a track that a cd player skips. It is basically labeled as track-0 on the cd and is somehow (i cant exactly remember) hidden from mp3 players or disc readers. The only 2 ways to get to them is to either rewind the cd from track 1 for the length of the hidden track OR extract it using certain software on a PC/MAC. This track is on the Folie a Deux cd but is hidden so a computer or cd player wont normally recognize it as a track and will skipp over it.

northernhannah it is on the CD, I found it in the weirdest way lol most albums have the hidden track WAY at the end of a song and this song is there if you put the CD in and start rewinding from when the first song starts, unless you downloaded the album in which case that sucks haha

Jessica Mathis lol well first of all it won't work on Itunes, if you HAVE the actual cd, put it in your cars CD player or something and when the first song starts, start rewinding it from there and it's literally put before the first song, it's weird to explain haha

Is it just me or is there something really sad and melancholy about this song that makes you want to cry?

I've owned this album since just after it was released in 2008. I was 14. I was TODAY YEARS OLD when I found out about this song. I just rewound the first track on the album and listened to it on my shitty, old, dying boombox and listened. I could barely hear a thing but it worked and it was great.

I've played this to my son since he was born. It was one of the only things that would calm him in the beginning. Whenever he was crying in the car, I would sing this over and over and it would be the only thing to keep him from screaming until I could stop. He'll be 2 in May and it's still his favorite ❤️

You know Pete's a good songwriter when he writes a lullaby which could put an adult to sleep.

Whenever there's a thunderstorm my dog always gets really nervous and freaks out, but for some reason if I play this he calms down.

It's just the sweet weather and the peacock feathers, in the morning it will all be better...

I have a self-harming problem and tonight I was in a really depressive state of mind so I played this song and cried healthily rather than cut: I love this song so much.

This time last year, I was finishing my last year of Middle School and I was recently diagnosed with Clinical Depression. I felt like nothing good as coming for me, and I was bullied since I recently came out as a lesbian everyday. I felt worthless... until I got into Fall Out Boy. Iv'e always heard of them, but i was never a hardcore fan. But now I was, and they made me laugh and became my role models. I listened to this song so many times last year before or after school, or before sleeping. My dream is to meet them, to say even a simple, thank you.

This is beautiful. It’s so peaceful, like it came out of a dream. It’s heartwarming, knowing that they probably sing this to their kids. I love that it’s hidden, but when found, it proves to be one of the most meaningful songs on the album, the words being the ones needed the most. The song makes me smile, makes me feel like a small child. Feels like a nice cup of hot chocolate on a rainy day or a good book near a fire place. Like a good cry after a long, hard day. Feels beautiful, innocent. Like I’m drifting away and can’t feel anything but the music. It makes me feel happy. I’m telling you the truth, I mean this, I’m okay. Trust me.

I always knew Pete wrote this for Bronx but when I was around 12 this song helped me so much when I felt terrible or had another shit day and would listen to this before going to sleep and would imagine Patrick singing it to me... song is incredible to this day and even listening to this at 19 can still help me feel better when I'm about to go to sleep. crazy, but I'm so grateful for it.

whenever i'm feeling anxious, this song always makes me calm down. it's just got such powerful energy.

Used to listen to this throughout high school, regardless of where my musical taste was at the time, this song used to bring me down to earth, especially during the time when I had just dropped out and had gotten a job, I was very scared. For all of you wondering, this song is hidden in the Pre-Gap of Folie a Deux, which is a part on a CD before track 1, so it registers as track 0, which mean that most CD players can't read it. To access it, you need to rewind the CD from track 1 into negative time, so you can't do it on a computer. Some CD players have a rewind feature, but most newer ones don't.
