This is actually my favourite storyline in the show at the moment, something a little different from the usual dodgy teacher relationships/burning something down/marriage proposals you normally get every season, and this Lula character is amazing as well!

She plays her character well as I'm sure she's not that annoying in real life; she infuriates me!!! And the teacher that tells her to do all of this makes me sooooo angry too.

yeah I guess she's kind of done a good job redeeming herself the 2nd half of the season. That Lula chick is seriously a creeper...her eyes get all buggy & she always wants to spew her view of the world but never actually listen when people bring up proper counterpoints...

That and the fact that she has some form of dangerous chemical in her hands in the next time trailer drives her further to the moral event horizion, and if she crosses that line, I hope that she get's what she deserves, and that teacher aswell.

well yeah...it does have a higher crime rate but (and granted i'm not a census taker) we also have a much higher population as well....I remember being a kid and hearing that cops over in the UK don't even carry guns which I can't believe..

I only recently watched this episode but to be honest did not like Lula's character from day one. The way she spoke to teachers and pupils with such anger made me want to give her a slap. She should have been expelled from the school and arrested after attempting to put acid in Lorraine's face. Lorraine was only funding the Company that carried out the testing (that does not mean she was fully aware of all facts concerning their experimenting on animals) yet Lula thought Lorraine needed to be punished to such a degree that warranted attempted murder or permanant facial disfigurement. This episode was quited dark and frightening and should have been toned down for the type of viewing. I was left feeling bitter that Lula remained in the series after as even in real life I can forgive a lot of criminal acts in defense of animal rights but not to the point of taking away someone's sight permanently; especially a woman's. If Tom had been made aware of what Lula was about to do when Lula herself alerted him to her science teachers accidental burns i'm sure he would have recommended her dismissal to Michael. This character should have been put under medical supervision for both her ignorance and mental state! Also her behaviour bought back some bad memories for me of my earlier experiences with similar violent atitudes enforced by some African males i was unfortunate to encounter whilst getting into confrontations with them over matters of a trivial nature!

Lula is really getting on my nerves now.

Vile human being , animals are not ours to use or to trade. Even if it means that we can live! If someone offered me a cancer cure in exchange for something's life, I would immediately refuse it!!

yeah but let's be real...for a gal who was raped by her psycho ex bf she snapped back quite quick to act all lovey dovey coochie coo with the little nerdy guy w/ the way too skinny chicken legs :) & start playing house. Not to mention, granted I live in the US but no adult would let a 15/16 yr old live by themselves without intervening....
