Today, we look at Luke's account of the parable told by Jesus of the sower. God is the sower who spread the truth of the Gospel (the seed) across many different kinds of soil (the hearts of the hearers). In each soil, the truth of the Gospel takes root in the soil, but life's circumstances and influences impact the seeds ability to grow and mature. We often think of ourselves as the good soil and others as the less effective soils, but is that what God would say of us? Let us live truly as the good soil and allow the Gospel to shape our lives.
