I wander why I Love Irish music. I now realized that there is a hidden relation between my Sudanese folk music and the Irish one. Something beautiful shared the two! Thanks for wonderful Irish music..

You don't need to be related to an Irish person to feel a connection. Passion doesn't have a nationality

i hear what ur saying... im irish (irish American from NYC) and grew up on this... as a 36 year old with an eccletic musical taste, i try to listen to everything... Ive listened to West African music tjat reminds me greatly of these acapella irish tunes... i know Sudan isnt in West Africa btw... but there is something beautiful and primitive in a lot of Irish music and it's a common thread in the music of a few countries

D'aulde Triangle wha.....I never tire of listening to this. Btilliant.
I'm a Protestant and I love the man
My puny mind can not even fathom what this beautiful man may have accomplished had he lived a full life. Luke Kelly was a man cut down by disease, only to rise again as a God. A Dubliner!
Magic music....legends...
serious talent here , luke kelly rip
I love how Barney lays his hand on Luke. It's kinda like "I'm here with you lad. I have your back and I always will."
Luke Kelly is the Greatest Irish folk singer of all time, no equal. Any configuration of musical talent that has him included automatically scored a hit with every song he sang in. Luke's talent is a once in a lifetime gift to be appreciated by all.

This is prime Luke Kelly. He is in his absolute prime here. What a fantastic job
I've loved Irish music since my mother played The Dubliners for me back in (I guess) 1996. Visited Dublin a few month ago and was overwhelmed by the atmosphere. Everyone was kind and seemed to enjoy life. Can't wait to go back to this beautiful country and maybe live there some day.
R.I.P songs, voices and sessions like this.. Ireland will never see the same again.. a shame really :(
So much old slang , love it
Fabuleux ! à couper le souffle !
This Man sang such passion!!! Sure he never will be replaced! Nobody beats him!!!
he was surely the greatest . we lost a lot when we lost luke , but he will live on forever on our internet , miss him ,A but we will always have his songs and spirit ... paul.
Maybe the best version ever, thanks.
I met with friends for years at least once a week for a few beers and whisky and this song came up every time and we all gave it our best! Luke Kelly was one of the best folk singers ever!
0:40 goosebumbs when Barney puts his hand on Luke's shoulder!
Absolutely beautiful

Unbelievable power in Luke’s voice, and barney, John, Jim’s harmonies are beautiful.
Let,s not forget these great songs lads.
My god..fantastic song my granda used to sing it. God bless yee for putting these songs up. there isn't a voice that could hold a candle to luke kelly or a band that could hold a candle to the dubliners. I fear that my children won't have the joy of these songs as the dubliners are dying out quite literally ciaran, god rest him, luke, god rest him, ronnie god rest him...fair play to ye kellyoneill ye have done a great deed in keeping the dubliners alive
Born and bred in Dublin I remember this song being played and sung on many a good night....but no one can come close to that voice of Luke. A pleasure sir listening to your voice...(Tips my hat).
Luke Kelly , one of the greatest voices of the 70’s. Enormous influence on Irish music
I have to listen to this every so often to recalibrate.
Never be another .
Much love from Virginia for Luke Kelly. Each song I've been able to listen to and/or watch features the man giving all his passion and energy to every tune. Hats off.
Honestly makes me proud to be Irish ,when I listen to it I know where I come from and I know what I stand for
goose bumps everytime i listen
You can't help crying at that chorus
An outstanding performance by talented musicians...Luke's voice soaring to the heavens, with support and love from his friends....so wonderful to hear and see..how blessed we are to have these men walking amongst us, then and now..and giving us this marvelous marvelous music...
I know it has been mentioned but the harmonies are just magnificent
Great Irish song always remembered.
Every one of them a legend ❤❤❤
