another one of my girlfriend's idols was going on tour and she graciously bought me a ticket so i can go with her :) i am a 5sos'er so i obviously got into their discography before i tuned into luke's. i actually tried listening to his first album a bit into the beginning of our relationship and i got a couple songs out of it, but it really didn't resonate with me entirely. fast forward to the time the "boy" ep drops and i'm fully on board with this man and what he has to offer outside of the band and he lives up to my expectations to a TEEEEEEEEE
not only is he a great performer, he's also hilarious without effort. his little quips during speeches (especially when he was gathering intel on what songs were hits and everyone loved shakes) and i had a great time even as a semi outsider. just a genuine substitute teacher and i can get behind that. i felt so sorry for the girl who passed out right before "starting line" started broooo it was so hot in the crowd and i was surprised that the band still came out to perform even after everyone was telling them to stop real quick cuz security was still tryna manage the situation, but the show must go on i guess
