Welsh is such a difficult language for me to learn, but when I hear how beautiful it sounds through speech and song, it encourages me to continue learning. 💖

I am Welsh but live an got married in Scotland. We had this at our wedding in Edinburgh. My cousin did a phonetic version so everyone in the cathedral could join in. Beautiful thank you for the memories

Just in the past couple of years we found my mom's maternal side of the family, which is mostly Irish, has a dash of both Scottish and Welsh...That would definitely explain all the musical tendencies in that branch of our family tree. Mom's entire family played at least 1 musical instrument. One of her brothers was a professional composer who wrote the Batman Theme, and many movie soundtracks including The Odd Couple 🥰

What took you to Wales to live there for a year? College? I agree about keeping the Welsh heritage alive, same for all other heritage :) Calan Lan is my fav - we used to sing it in school assembly's.

Reminds me of my time when I lived in Aberystwyth many many years ago. This version is beautiful. He has such a fantastic voice...very talented and handsome guy.
