Dude this is much appreciated, there are many youtubers who post combos but never explain them step by step.

Super late at night, I’ve been playing the demo as much as I can, doing the basics over and over again, thank you so much for putting a combo like this up and legit walking through it step by step! I have found very few videos that do it like you and I want you to know I appreciate the explanation, not just doing it and posting a 20s clip! 😅👍🏻

Yoo thanks a lot, I was wondering how to do that move and I didn’t even know what it was called but thanks for explaining the drive rush to me now I can do decent combos!

learning luke from scratch. good to know that DR cMP can be combo to cHP and link to special etc.. This is useful for real match for pressuring. Thanks!

I’ve been using Luke for months and just TODAY figured out where to put that c. MP…Drive Rush really is a frame cheat to connect hits that don’t normally sync in normal frame. Good look with this clip 👍🏾

Neat combo, but very scary and expensive to do in match. Have to be full DG and make sure that it kills or you are in a tough spot.

I agree but you gotta remember, some of these are not really meant to be optimal. They're learning tools for beginners to learn the combo system and implementing one or more drive rushes into their combos.

you can cut it in half too. only do 1 drive rush cancel medium heavy into special.

I do just the second half after his lmhP target combo, good confirm, but a little expensive. Also this one does 50% if you have full meter, so it cam kill pretty reliably.

Dude, ive been watching your videos and don't understand how are you doing drive rush without the MP+MK? Are you using modern controls?

lol no, I'm using classic controls. You only need to input the MP+MK if you're doing a raw drive rush. Meaning there is no other input preceding the drive rush. I didn't have to input MP+MK in the combo in this video because the first drive rush in the combo followed Luke's standing heavy punch. If the first attack in the combo was drive rush, then I would've had to input the medium buttons. But because in this combo, I did a standing heavy before the drive rush, all I needed to push for drive rush was forward on the DPAD two times really quickly.

@@switchplayed5412 thats exactly what it looks like, i didn't know that was possible, is that possible with Ryu? Or does he need raw drive rushes all the time? The Hashogeki into DR MP then DR HP, is kicking my ass , you have to cancel out of the first DR and the timing of the First DR after Hashogeki is a nightmare. Holding MP+MK doesnt work after Hashogeki and i suck at instants lol

@@Dirt33breaks Yes it's possible with all characters and yeah that combo took me a while too. After the DR MP, hit the forward button twice real quick. That will trigger another driver rush, then do the heavy punch. Mess around with timing. It needs to be real quick.

It's been 15 minutes and I haven't gotten the medium punch to combo into the crouching heavy punch a single time 💀 If this is the easy combos I'm just gonna stick to spamming sandblast 😭
