A world treasure.

Although there are obvious comparisons to his father’s vocal timbre, he also has a sweet sounding falsetto range which his dad didn’t really experiment with a lot. What he definitely did inherit was the ability to sing a gorgeous song with a very honest and emotional quality. Love it Lucas.❤

Just ran into Lukas at the spa. He was such a gentleman and was helpful when someone was struggling with the hot water dispenser and even held the door for me. I commented on what a gentleman he was. I almost said, "You were definitely raised right." Love his duet "just breath" the best. Thanks for being a light in this world Lukas!

I love the way, when Willie and Lukas take their seats, Willie acknowledges the camera / sound crew, a real gentleman, there ain't many left.....

My Dad loved Willie Nelson. We played his music at Dad's funeral. I now play it often. 46 days since my Dad passed on and I listen to both of these beautiful souls daily. I went to Austin from Wales this time last year. Such beautiful countrysides there. Maybe one day I will return and take Dad's ashes with me and spread them somewhere amazingly beautiful.

So love the love between Father and Son, just tears me up with their affection for one another.

How are we so Lucky to have another generation of Willie. This warms my❤️

I think he is a young Willie which makes me so happy! You can tell he is a great band member who is a lead singer and his band loves him back! I couldn’t think what I should call him because he is the lead singer and also a band member! I love how he treats them by showcasing Logan’s singing and all the instruments he plays. And Corey with the string instruments he plays. The drummer is loving him some special time too.

Being Willie's son must blessing and a curse. A blessing with how loving and caring his dad is, but a curse with how large of a shadow he casts on country and folk music as a whole.

You know when you were not born, I was already in Texas, and listening to your great father Willie, I learned a little English, and he transmitted to me that love for the land, air, horses, and unique way of living... forever grateful son.... God bless you... my respects from Venezuela....

I believe this is likely the most important song ever written. Heritage, family, love and all that. It speaks so much. I have been a performing musician for years. This one takes the cake. Willie has been one of the biggest parts of my life musically. Honestly, I'd say probably the biggest. I was raised by a single dad, and he was a musician, and was probably Willie's biggest fan ever. Every night he sang me to sleep with Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain. That song is so important to me, it's a part of my soul. My Dad passed away in September, from Pancreatic Cancer, and it has shaken me to my core. I'm just starting to feel okay enough, and I'm finally able to listen to Willie again without bawling. I love hearing you sing, Lukas. I look forward to sharing your music, as well as your dad's music, with my five year old. I want her to love Willie and you, as much as her Papa and I do. I had hoped to bring her to one of your dad's concerts here in California, but it's not going to happen, so I'm beyond grateful for these KZread videos, we can enjoy together. I see that Luck sign at the beginning all the time when I'm turning off from Bee Creek Road onto Thurman Bend, it's on the left. I see the gates that say luck to the entrance to Willie's Place. I've been in Austin since 1965. Year I was born and I seen Willie maybe between a half-dozen to a dozen times. I've always wanted to meet him. My sister-in-law and my brother both bumped into him around town. I asked my brother did you smoke a joint with him because I know I sure would have. Friend of mine works for him forever selling merchandise. He told me that Willie says if you're not in luck then you're out of luck He passed away recently. Rest in peace Scooter, we'll miss you.

It must be difficult to constantly be compared to someone, even if it is done in a sensitive manner. Lukas is forever Willie.....I know he loves his father, that's not in question. But he is an amazing human being who happens to have a voice that touches hearts and minds across the globe. His song writing skills are making him shine in the eyes of fans. He is uniquely Lukas. I have only recently begun to listen to his music and it didn't take long for me to find someone who knows how I feel. His voice and music touches my very soul every time. That's star quality. He most definitely has that little bit more, that makes him stand out from other performers. I am so enjoying the songs he and his father and brother are doing to get through this lockdown. Simply brilliant,!!

We saw Willie Nelson and Lukas Nelson in 2017 at Harrah's Casino in Valley Center, CA. It was amazing. Willie was recovering from flu/pneumonia and had to leave the stage. Lukas took over, gave us goosebumps. An amazing guitarist!

I love this song. The melody is beautiful, I catch myself playing it in my mind. When it is quiet. Lucas has the original sound in his voice that his father has. No one else I have ever heard can sing the way they do. You can feel the music. Love the lyrics.

Honoring your Dad as you do is honoring God too. Its what God commands us to do. Old Testament. Keep doing it more and more. Gods gonna take Willie home some day.

Lukas in concert is an experience you DO NOT want to ever miss. Comments below comparing him to Glenn Campbell....don't do it man. Lukas is a brilliant talent with a work ethic that is an example for the rest of us. Here's the equivalent: elite athlete. He's a sweet man, a good man too.

The reason people compare him to Glen is the first 2 minutes of this song is "Gentle on my mind" By glen Campbell.

Total respect for Lucas! His songwriting is up there with Jimmy Webb and John Hartman's - as it tells a story. This song sounds like something Glen Campbell would have recorded.

he's great the songs great and so was the late glen campbell as far as his voice and musical talents are concerned. i don't think most of the remarks are insults or criticisms or taking aim at his talent or this beautiful song. i wish the new country songs had the sound and feel that this has. for a change it's not 3 young dudes hammering guitars and beltings out take a drunk girl home. it's tender and composed with a hart that was intended to be pleasing to listen to instead of the empty loud crap on the radio that strikes no cord in me! just saying. ok kids go back to your bickering.

This is a beautiful thing to see & hear. My father, Carter Stanley, was a great singer/songwriter/musician. I lost him at a young age & chose to never follow in his footsteps. I'll always wonder. I like what Lukas said - ""It's not like I want to run away from my dad. I love him. I'm proud of him. I'm just an extension of him -- literally. I've got his DNA. I make my own music, but I sound like him sometimes. I'm not trying to get out of his shadow. I'm bright enough to where I cast my own shadow and I create my own light."

Wowwwwwwwwww Lukas is great, we love him as well as we love Willie, is wonderful father.

Mighty fine gene pool going on in that family--just saw Willie & Lukas/Micah last night, and boy the apple landed close to that tree. If there's a greater living American than Willie, I don't know who he/she is..and his 'boys' are carrying on the tradition of greatness.
