I know this song is about family but after I lost my dog and my true friend who helped me through my 6 years of depressed and darkness, it's so hard to listen to this song and not cry for real. He and also a part of my soul has gone. Everyday is my fight too. Cheers man.

Man, every time I listen to this song i cry like a baby cause I lost my wife of 17 years to liver cancer and I would play this and sing it to her. Thank you Lukas to the theme to my best memories. Much love my brother!!!!!!!

There will always be a song that did it before the one you listened to. Also, the lyrics aren't even that bad. It's the voice and rythem and beat that sucks me in. Mostly because most songs nowadays are about heartbreak, being a thug, or having a hard life. This one is somewhat a refresher for people.

(check bottom for update👇🏻) I lost my highschool sweetheart 3 weeks ago and I can’t stop listening to this song over and over and I cant stop crying. We had been dating for 5 years and I got her a engagement ring so I could propose at her birthday party (on the day that she died). She never made it to the party. When I hear this song i will always remember her smile, how she would cling onto me, kiss me, laugh, she was a strong women, the funny trouble we would get in, and the long unplanned road trip adventures we would take when we were board but the song also reminds me of the dark parts of that day she died. I was running late so her and her friends left 1hr before me because they were to excited to wait. I’ll never forget that when i went to get in my truck I saw a state trooper pulling into my driveway. The officer was a old friend from highschool so i knew it had to be something personal. We stood there looking at each other locking eyes for awhile, he put down his head, and when he reached me he told me that she got hit by a tractor trailer that ran through a red light and apparently the rig crushed her car into a concrete covert. I’ll never forget when he saw the engagement ring box in my hand he broke character, he know I have Autism so he hugged me, sat me down with tears running down both of our faces and in a broken voice told me that she didn’t make it and that she didn’t have a fighting chance. I still have that ring on a shelf with her pictures so I can look at it and remember all the good times. My family tree has a scary history of pre-mature deaths and I was always hoping it won’t happen to her. . . 6/3/2020 Update: Around 5/11/2020 my young sister brought home a old friend that iv met from my sister’s highschool graduation pool party. She is a 19 year old, 5ft 7, 140 pound, girl with a heavy British accent that she got from her momma, nice hour glass body, and the right things in the right places . Her name is Cara and she looks exactly like Lila Collin which blows my mind. We just moved on our own last week and into a apartment together. We try for a kid twice a day ever since the night my sister brought her home. My sister didn’t have the intention of me sleeping with cara but when my gf and I looked into each other’s eyes for the first time again we knew what we wanted a peace of. 😉. She likes to wrap her arms around me and sleep on my chest which is cute. I know that my old gf would be happy for me and I wish I could thank her for bringing Cara into my life. Cara is a blessing and Im glad that my old gf looked upon me from heaven and blessed me with Cara so I have a happy life. Thank-you all for the encouraging words I appreciated it.

I had that love and happiness with a woman I was with for 16 years we have a 7 year old son and divorced now for 2 years the grips of addiction made her hate me and now that shegonethe only thing that keeps me waking up and trying my beautiful son Gunnar God if I could change things Iove that woman with every ounce of my heart and soul and she hates me now I mean this beautiful woman treats me so horrible now only see my son every other weekend and I've tried 10 million times to fix things with us been sober now 1 and a half years and e the more she hates me the more I want our family back I'm so lost and this song just makes me remember that love that engulfs you and I had it and let the most stupid thing take me over and I've lost her and I dont know how life will ever be the same she can't even stay in the same room with me for very long and never talks to me sorry for the long rant but I'm so lost without the better half of me.

I miss my mom so much but I got to lobe her deep took care of her thru so many hard times. And she did the same for me so when she found out she had ALS I was proud to take care of her till the end I just wish it wasn't during the beginning of covid when there was no treatment and none of her sister could visit the world was so cold at that point but I stayed by her side till the end I fed her I bathe her I did everything I miss that woman so much I don't know what's better to watch someone die quickly or to have to watch someone die slowly getting paralyzed with no answers there's no treatment really for ALS sorry anyways this is an awesome song

“When you love someone, you open up your heart.” I know this is supposed to be a romantic song, but it reminds me a lot of our relationships with God. He has always been there for us, waiting. All we have to do is open our hearts and minds to Him. It’s amazing what happens when you make the conscious effort to trust Him, over and over again.

Is he really there for you though, is he actually waiting? How do you know for sure he exists? Good thing you were born in the right religion and not one of the other 3000 wrong ones. It's tough believing that a book, written by random scribes almost 3000 years ago had it right. I'd love to trust him, but why put "conscious effort" in something that cannot be proven, and follow an outdated ideology. As long as He and your faith makes you feel good though, that's all that matters in the end I guess.
