I am just saying, until now, everytime I have seen someone in offside position and RUNS when a ball is thrown near their position, it has been called an offside. There is always interpretation by the referee, and thats how big teams get away with different criteria applied to them. Yes, he stopped running just after a sec, but he still ran.

This ref and VAR tried everything for RM to drop points today 😂.

Honestly Real Madrid have the most goals cancelled by VAR, 26 this season only. It was the same last season, only against Almería was in our favour.

Rey vallecano last week defended all through, sevilla did same thing to do and Ale keeps saying Madrid is just managing to get the job done. I didn't hear him say that after the game against Girona.

I'm not sure what you're criticizing here. Ale is correct that Real Madrid are just squeaking by. They could have lost both of these games and you can include the game versus Leipzig. They are not blowing away the competition. The game against Girona was a masterclass but they haven't managed anything close to that since. The win in the first Classico was another example where they were outplayed then won through sheer brilliance by Jude. We need to be careful but I'm still happy with these results considering all of the injuries this season. Hala Madrid!

@@ykhanI disagree. Madrid has been clearly dominant in all their games with the exception of athletico Madrid (giant slayers). Sevilla literally had no interest in scoring today. Playing with 5 in the back and no attacking creativity. This game needed a moment of brilliance which is what happened but in no way would imply that Madrid is “doing the bare minimum”.

In this game, yes they dominated possession and had more shots - this would be a given considering Sevilla was in a low block and waiting to counter if given a chance. If you look at the xG, both teams were very close. While we had a higher number of shots, they were low-scoring opportunities. This is not domination. I saw Vini in situations where he was trying to take on 2 or 3 defenders, the middle was clogged and we could rarely get a shot from within the box. The only two were the Lucas Vasquez goal that was taken back and Valverde's goalpost. We need to figure out how to do better against low blocks because aside from a few teams, that's all we will see against us in La Liga. Again, I'm not saying we played poorly but we missed Joselu's presence in the box, drawing defenders away from Vini so he could have a better chance of doing his magic.

The goal Vasquez should not have been disallowed. The ref were against him because his young. When Modric scores another ref let's the goal stands. I guess the refs are against the young men in Real Madrid.
