I am so happy for Boban, it means a lot to him, tears show it. I think he was for long period very sorry Croatia didn't enter final 98 - in clash with France, he did a great mistake, lose ball near goal from Thuram, and Thuram score one oh his two winning goals for France. Boban play that mathc injured, asking coach not to put him in, coach insisted. I think with this Luka words about Croatia team 98, Luka healed Boban emotianal wound til the end. This was the greatest impact Luka did that celebration evening. Thank you Luka, you are a great man.

I actively went out of my way to watch this. I am glad I did. Big salute to this man. Luka Modric should be the type of sportsman they teach about in schools. Not the biggest man, perfecting skills, hard work, dedication, desire, belief. He inspires many not just Croatian boys and girls. I really hope he can win the world cup with his team. Anyone (i.e. is an non-partisan) who actually saw the match could easily tell how the referees were biased against Croatia.😓 Its hard to think of what they might have against these innocent rising stars. Its so sad that in the final, even after having VAR, such mistreatment was provided to the Croatian team. I personally think that Croatia were the ones who really desreved to win. Just seeing how they played (in every match ; not just the final), it was Fabulous! 😊

I am so happy for Boban, it means a lot to him, tears show it. I think he was for long period very sorry Croatia didn't enter final 98 - in clash with France, he did a great mistake, lose ball near goal from Thuram, and Thuram score one oh his two winning goals for France. Boban play that mathc injured, asking coach not to put him in, coach insisted. I think with this Luka words about Croatia team 98, Luka healed Boban emotianal wound til the end. This was the greatest impact Luka did that celebration evening. Thank you Luka, you are a great man.

I actively went out of my way to watch this. I am glad I did. Big salute to this man. Luka Modric should be the type of sportsman they teach about in schools. A generational footballer. He plays football so effortlessly, makes it look so easy which is probably the hardest thing. In a time, where fanboys galore over more marketable players with occasional flares, Modric perfectly represents what football should be. What a great player, and incredible human being. I have always loved watching Luka, and what he has done these past two world cups to lead Croatia to the final 4 is legendary stuff. You cant tell the story of soccer without mentioning his name! He has many fans here in the USA, and I hope he stays involved with the game for a long time.
I haven’t really followed his career or watched any of his interviews but after this speech he has my respect as human being. Such an inspirational speech. He is a real authority. Wish you all the best Luka!

He deserves it so much. He's the engine that makes his teams Real and Croatia run. He doesn't get that much goals and assists but he's always the guy making the pass before the assist and breaks the defence. Always calm and composed. He is also humble and always wants the best for his teammates. I wish Pirlo, Xavi and Sneijder won atleast one too. People need to appreciate playmakers like them. He is a true gentleman.
Anyone (i.e. is an non-partisan) who actually saw the match could easily tell how the referees were biased against Croatia.😓 Its hard to think of what they might have against these innocent rising stars. Its so sad that in the final, even after having VAR, such mistreatment was provided to the Croatian team. I personally think that Croatia were the ones who really desreved to win. Just seeing how they played (in every match ; not just the final), it was Fabulous! 😊

Seeing Zvonimir Boban crying at this ceremony makes all Croats proud. Everyone who knows croatian history knows what those tears represent. Boban proud that Luka is best new 10 ever...he was his idol as a kid.
