Luka Krajnovic reportedly enters NCAA transfer portal, what does it mean for the Gonzaga Bulldogs?
Luka Krajnovic reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal one day before it closes, leaving Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs without a backup point guard and with another open scholarship. Krajnovic showed promise down the stretch last season, and could opt to return to Croatia and play professionally or find another school to continue his education and likely land a bigger role on the court.
Losing Krajnovic makes adding another guard even more important for the Zags, and we discuss five young guard options the team could pursue - including incoming freshmen Nolan Traore and Trent Perry and transfers Wesley Yates, Emmanuel Innocenti, and Rowan Brumbaugh.

Same reason many college and high school coaches do the same, because they can!!!
Stromer spent some time at the 2 last year and I'd like to see him spend more there this year. Venters should be sharing the 3 with Ajayi if he doesn't get picked up by the NBA. Ajayi can be a 3-4 hybrid like Watson was last year. Hickman can be backup PG but he'll need people to relieve him. Like Battle if we get him and Stromer. If we get Battle we'll probably have an 8 man rotation for normal minutes with Stromer and Yeo getting some time also. So kind of an 8++ rotation. Surprised Pavel and Luka weren't willing to gut it out for a year or two for the sake of development. Transferring out for more minutes hasn't worked out very well for anyone's career so far except for Ballo and Sallis, and their resume would have looked as good or better at GU, it just would have taken a little longer to get there.
My suspicion is one of our 24-25 blue chip recruits is about to commit and the staff gave Lk a heads up.
Battle is going to come to Gonzaga for his 6th and final year to play what 15-20 mins behind Nolan Hickman? I'm sure he's good on that.. Think it might be a tough sell for the 1 year transfers at least

With what looks like a solid 8 man rotation right now, how likely is it that a player like that would commit knowing they'd likely have a limited role next season?
