This is the best shape I’ve seen him in since his rookie and sophomore season. I haven’t seen him look this good in a while. He’s also getting some muscle, something that’s new to his body. Kid could be the best player in the world, I hope he stays healthy and slim

Have you seen his fotos from last summer while he was preparing for the Eurobasket? He looks even slimmer and more muscular back then. Its all about cardio, not how muscular or slim he is. Btw, for me he looks exactly like he did last year. But people just see what they want to see.

Luka Doncic is not the most athletic player in the NBA, but he is definitely deceptive. He doesn't have the blazing speed of some of the other stars in the league, but he has a lot of power and strength. He's also very good at using his body to create space and get to the basket.

Nope. He's great to watch, but to put him in the all time category is disrespecting the guys who came before him. Defense matters... to be top 5 you need to be great on both ends of the court. Jordan was already averaging 3 steals a game by his 4th and 5th seasons. Luka is at 1.

I've been gifted in this life to have shared the court with some of the most amazing basketball players ever...some made it to the league and some didn't. Through time I can remember a guy from New London, Connecticut that had a Luka type of build but only stood about 6'2 and his last name was Sikes..anyway..The absolute most unstoppable player I've ever either played against or seen play. He had a Kyrie esque handle, and a pure grace to his game that rivals that of Julius Erving. Deceptive speed, and a remarkable IQ as well. So for me it is beyond understandable to see how Luka is so great because I have seen up close his archetype in a (smaller man, yes) high level tournament in Connecticut against D1 talent as well as NBA talent, and at Luka's size and years of playing at the highest level is just scary to think what he could be in the next few years.

Sloukas, Dorsey, Calathes and 2 more starters missing. Greece was playing with it's 2nd team. Luka couldn't do much more being out of breath the whole game

Even with the help of the refs, Greece slapped Luca hard. Kostas Papanikolaou 6/6 threes.

Luka usually looks in his best form late in the regular season close to the playoffs .... looking the way he does right now this early in the season , is really amazing and makes me want the season to start already !! Plus the fact that he stacks 20 points ,14 assists and 9 rebs in a euroleague type game is just astonishing!!! The fact that we r not even making too much of it is even more amazing and is an estimate of how great he is ...i mean thats like hitting 45 in a euroleague game (20,14 and 9 )

True, I prefer two way players. I wouldn’t say that’s always the case though, I’ve seen Luka play decent defense when engaged. I think he’ll start playing more as he matures. Maybe not, contributing to more than 40+ points definitely does help mask his defensive woes to be fair though.
