so i've been trying to watch ER for the last like five-ish years. i'd always watch a bunch of episodes then stall out for a while before coming back to watch some more. then this january, i started watching again where i'd previously left off at the end of season 5. i figured i'd watch a few eps before i inevitably got distracted and set ER aside again. but oh man. did i ever not know that about to appear on my screen were luka kovac and abby lockhart. even when they weren't together whatsoever in season 6, i knew that each of these characters was going to end up being my favorites on the show (even though I love the rest of them so much too!!) because both of them just appealed to me so much (and admittedly, once i found out luka was croatian i was done because if you follow me on tumblr you know i'm a little insane for the croatian soccer team). but then when season 7 started and i realized "omfg these guys are going to be love interests???" i was hooked for good. i watched the last ten seasons in about three months because i absolutely had to know what happened to my babies. i really didn't know anything about them whatsoever and had no idea if they were endgame or not and i both loved and hated how in the dark i was about them (i really thought when they broke up in season 8 that that was going to be it and i was so sad about it).
so because of the fact that i was very much consumed with these two while binge watching the show and have stayed obsessed since finishing it, i really really had to vid them. i absolutely loved the use of open your eyes in 12x22 but i assumed there would be a ton of luka/abby vids to it already. i did a cursory youtube search and i actually found just a couple so i started thinking "hmmm, maybe i could do that song..." but i still wanted it to be different from other people's edits so i tried searching for a cover and that's when i found this remastered version instead. the little bit softer run of this version was a lot easier to vid and, i felt, helped me to really focus on the scenes i used. i actually really love how this vid turned out and i hope you guys do to! BUT PLEASEEE LISTEN TO IT WITH HEADPHONES because, my computer speakers at least, completely garbles the sound without the use of headphones.

So special. First time in my life watching ER in 2023 and I fell in love with Abby and Luka in a heartbeat. I went crazy when I watched season 12. Luby endgame.

Oh, my God, I _simply love_ this video! 😄 I finished _E. R._ last summer (yes, I was "a bit" late to the party 😉), it took me two years to watch the whole series. Abby and Luka became my all-time-favourite characters and couple! ❤ I created a playlist about their relationship - and now I added this video to it. Thank you!!! 😊

Oh i looooove this!! and i'm like so delighted to see a luka/abby video appear after all these years. and so happy for you that you managed to watch this all without getting spoiled and that you got to experience the joy of finding out that luby (we used to call it luby in the old days... is that still a thing? lol) was endgame after all! I feel like there were some dark times in the carter/sam years, haha

thank you so much! i'm so glad you like the video! and like, i really, really thought abby/carter was going to be endgame when they started dating in s9 and i was so resigned to it so i was completely shocked when wonderful s12 happened! i was like, "oh thank god it was worth it to sit through s8-11" 😂😂😂 and i had been wondering if they'd had a ship name or not, thank you so much for telling me!

I love Abby and Luca~~I hated when they left~~They had a great story line~~Loved both of them~~When they were gone I only watched some of the what was coming~~I still watched it the ending of e.r. but it just wasn't the same~~Bring back a final episode or a movie~~E.R, was the best and it was always the best~~jT'S THE BEST SHOW ever and we need to see for a these amazing actors and we all need another e.r. if a movie or and or go back to the end and star another~~
