I thought he’s time with Liverpool was absolutely magnificent obviously he had some controversy in Liverpool but in terms of play I thought he was incredible for Liverpool and Barca he damm near won the PL one year for Liverpool single handily one of the most ridiculous seasons I seen in the pl by a player putting a team on he’s back and damm near reaching the mountain top I understand he won lots of trophies with Barca but that was a galactico team u still had xavi iniesta and Neymar messi that team was ridiculous...

You can still watch him play for Nacional in the Uruguayan 🇺🇾 League.

He didnt play many seasons in ucl before his time in barca. One of the greatest strikers of all time and the best of the last 15 years with lewandowski. We miss him so much from european football but he is in his boyhood club in uruguay. True football legend and his combination with messi and neymar was out of this world especially with messi

Liverpool from 2010-11 until 2017-18 played only one yr in The Champions league. That was the 2014-15. Unfortunately he wasn't part of that team.

What an incredible goalscorer but when it comes to the UCL, his goalscoring form gets hit by some curse

The reason why he has so less goals in the UCL is because of his poor UCL form after 2017 and the fact that he played for Ajax and Liverpool , who were a measly Europa league team till 2015 .

In Barca, Suarez totally changed. He still one of the best player and scoring more goal but in attitude he has a good image for fans.

Mad how he didn't score a single UCL in-between 2010 and 2014. Pretty much shows that his time at Liverpool was kind of a waste in the grand scheme of things. If he played at a team that was mid-tier but consistently getting into the UCL (i.e. Arsenal), he probably would have gotten 20 more UCL goals in those 4 seasons.

I'm at a weird point as a football fan, for the first time in my life, players my age are retiring or leaving top flight football to play elsewhere. It was sad enough watching players I admired retire such as; R9, Zidane, Henry, Bergkamp, Scholes, Beckham, Keane, Maldini, Baggio, Totti etc. However, since they were older it didn't affect me as much. Now reality is truly setting in. I'm at the age range when players take their last bow. Aguero, Cavani, Suarez, Chiellini, Higuain, Tevez, Koscielny etc. I don't know, just makes me feel old I guess.
