I grew up with mariachis and I love them. Nothing reaches my soul like a mariachi. The only I ever saw grown men, grown Mexican men, cry was during a really emotional Ranchera or Mariachi song. This is a cover of the original song that came out in the 60s. One thing about Mexican culture, and Latino culture, is that the old ways, the old music, the old traditions are kept alive and updated instead of letting them go. Songs that are almost 100 years old are still being covered and going strong like "La Llorona" "Besame Mucho" and "Malaguena Salerosa".
