Look I agree he was better at Barcleona - infact he was out of this world at Barca. But your comment is misleading Overmars: "Ryan giggs is the best winger I've ever seen except Luis figo" As for Real madrid - he was incredible in 00/01 season as you mentioned. He struggled with injury in 01/02 & 02/03 - and was in Zidane shadow no doubt. But in 03/04 - Figo was Madrid's best player easily (as voted deservedly so by the fans) In 04/05 - Real Madrid best player again imo and way better than Zidane. Figo carried in the CL So your comment is flawed. He was better at Barca but he was Real's best player 3 out of 5 seasons - not bad imo. In that sense he is underrated. What did Zidane win without Figo? - Nothing. But Figo won the title by himself in 00/01 without Zidane. When Figo left - Zidane finished. True he was better at Barca tho.
