How would you rate Luigi's Mansion compared to the sequels? Are 2 and 3 much better or can the first Luigi's Mansion still keep up with them?

Maybe it's because I never grew up with the first Luigi's mansion that I rank it number 3 I grew up with the second one but I will admit the third game is much better

I think 2 and 3 are progressively better as 1 is linear with no backtracking where 2 and 3 has you back tracking to complete the game.

The original will always be my favorite. Hell, it's one of my all time favorite games. The atmosphere and vibes have never been captured quite the same in the sequels. There was just something so raw and eerie about the original in comparison, and while I like the sequels, they can just never hold a candle to this one

Nintendo did port xenoblade chronicles twice on 3DS and Switch so it could still be possible to port the original Luigi’s Mansion to Nintendo Switch

My favorite GameCube game

The newer games are Nice, but this was a true example of a horror game. Even the Nintendo vibe cant shield you from fear in this mansion.

Boolossus is hard to catch, but you just done it like a pro! Great job! That was the fastest fight i ever seen someone have with boolossus in luigi's mansion 1!

Apparently she's actually programmed to have a pull of zero, essentially meaning she resists as little as possible. Though that's still some resistance.

Luigis Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine are my two all-time favorite GameCube games. I want to get my GameCube fixed so I can play this game again.

The graphics and text look so clear! How did you record this? I like playing my gamecube game on the gamecube system still, but with modern tvs, even with adapters everything is still just barely readable.

Ive played the games from dark moon (2) to 3 to 1. I think 2 is the worst, three is next, then 1 at the top.

I like 1 and 3 equally for different reasons. The first is short and sweet, kind of like an arcade game, which makes it replayable. The third has great variety in its room themes and engaging boss fights. The second is not bad, but both the mission structure as well as the upgrades being unlocked simply by collecting money rathering than buying them discourages exploration. At the same time, the second did introduce many aspects the third has (strobulb, darklight, gems, and the ability to jump while sucking)
