LUFTHANSA A350 Economy Class Munich to Singapore Trip Report
I was dead excited about this flight! Travelling from Glasgow to Bangkok again, I made a detour to Munich and Singapore to finally loose my A350 cherry! I was chuffed when I managed to bag myself 28A which is a window seat without a seat in front of it - it's a window seat with direct aisle access!
Unfortunately, that seat turned out to be quite tight and just uncomfortable in general. Besides that, the crew were fantastic as always and food pretty good - just wished the portions were a bit bigger though. Verdict - as always, the first time is always a disappointment 🤣

Welcome back Nik - and such a great video to return with! I'm feeling gutted for you that the A350 didn't get a chance to WOW you at the first chance! It's such a fantastic aircraft. Would it have made a difference if the table and video were stowed on the other side by the wall? Or would that just mean you unconsciously deviate towards your neighbour? Also, love the WiFi Captcha reading 783MB, that wasn't the allowance instead was it :P. The bathroom looked no different to BA business one on the A350 either!

Hmmm dunno...I find the regular QR seats comfortable...and pitch isn't that bad either....
my last flight was 16 years ago when i was like 5 years old. now i will be on a 5 week business trip to singapore and literally have no clue how airports work, like…where to go and what to do. this will be interesting🙂

Yes, definitely nice flying into SIN! It's a great airport. I might have to try the regular seat next time without the fixed armrest...
What would you say about the 2 seats in front of you? 27A & 27B? If they’re available, should I pick them?
Yeah i did this Lufthansa flight from Munich (Started in London) to Singapore. Meanwhile a friend did Frankfurt(Started in Amsterdam) to Singapore on the A380, where we both arrived with 40 mins at Changi where we met and compared flights. Yeah I had to say the connection in Munich is way better than Frankfurt and flying the A350 is really comfortable ! I ended up having drinks around Ang Siang Hill later that night! so all good that day

Love it! That sounds like such a fun trip racing your friend to Singapore. LOL I do like the 350 but it was a shame I could not get comfortable in that Lufthansa seat....How did you get back?

@@SOPLANETUBE Oh I came back via Swiss Air flying the 777 to Zurich then flew to London City Airport which was nice airport to arrive as I live near by in Woolwich :-) What seat did you have? I have to admit Singapore Airlines and Cathay have slightly bigger seats on Economy I feel.

I am usually fine in Y because I am quite short but I just could not get comfortable in that seat!
Those seats are crazy narrow. I will take AC's 787 econ seats any day!

Ooft....those AC seats....they are well tight as well haha...although, I have only been on their 777s....which was an experience!

Hi Gabriel, I am pretty sure it was Terminal 2! If you watch the video, you can see the Jewel, which means we landed on runway 02R. We then taxi all the way around which suggests it was T2 😄

Hi! In that case, yes, totally go for this seat or the ones in row 27. They have a lot of legroom too as they are right by the door. They are tight though!

@@ImmortaliusMNE They are a little bit narrower because of the screen and tray table that are stored in the armrest. If it's small you can maybe hold it for take off/ landin and put it on the floor by your feet during the flight. Otherwise, it would have to go into the overhead bin.

This is a difficult one but it is not crazy narrow...if you have long legs, then I'd go for this one so at least you can stretch out. I saw a lot of legs in the aisle when I went to the toilet....
Lost my A350 virginity only last week, with British Airways. Bit shorter than your flight, just an hour and fifty minutes to Madrid. My first time was perfectly satisfactory but I was immediately unfaithful when I lost my A340 virginity with Iberia on he way back!

Have to say that I thought the music spoiled the trip report. Found it really annoying, too loud and up and down in volume as you intercut with crew announcements.

a crispy bread is a good one. The soft ones on a flight just look like a bread. The taste is always horrible and has nothing to do with a real one.

As a former Flight Attendant I could never understand why people put up with sardine class because that’s exactly what it is . It’s dehumanizing to sit like that for hours on end.
Stop that horrible music, pls!
