Sonic can easily obliterate Luffy.

Is it just me, or does anyone else HATE that sonic can make beams in animations, but never in games.

Then Zoro and Tails saved them and lived happily ever after.

When sonic went into super sonic luffy could have used on of his gears and beat sonic easily.

This needs to be remade. because of Snake Man

did we just forget about observation haki, the fact that Luffy can't be hurt by blunt objects, and conquerors haki?

While the whole water thing was a clever and funny way to resolve this fight, (except the way luffy fell was just plain unrealistic and dumb looking, who bounces off rocks like that?), Luffy would win. The only advantage sonic would have would be a small edge in speed as theres no way sonic could match him in strength or tactics since luffy has proven himself to be a battlefield genius. No to mention luffys HEAVY resistance to blunt attacks, meaning sonics only moves that he could possibly even hope to inflict winning damage with, is his spin attack, sonic wind, and super sonic. Two of which arent his fastest moves and one has a very strict time limit. Sonic might be able to pull it out with super sonic, but luffy has shown to be able take MASSIVE punishment, even from attacks that abuse his weakness to internal damage, and still get up to deliver the finishing blow. That being said, amazing choregraphy and sprite work on the artists behalf.
