Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C major, Op. 21, was dedicated to Baron Gottfried van Swieten, an early patron of the composer. The piece was published in 1801 by Hoffmeister & Kühnel of Leipzig. It is not known exactly when Beethoven finished writing this work, but sketches of the finale were found to be from 1795.
The symphony is scored for the following instrumentation:

Splendida interpretazione di questa eccezionale sinfonia di Beethoven!!
A supreme recording!! He does not play around with the symphony too much. It is just the music. This interpretation is even better than Karajan's Unlike Bernstein's, in the opening chords, the instrumentation is equal; the winds are not squeaking over the strings. The Allegro con brio section starts a bit more cleaner than Karajan, and he also does not play around with the music too much like Chaily. I think this is my ideal Beethoven Symphony no.1 Recording. RIP Maestro

Fully agree with all the points mentioned above! Also, the phrasing is much more sophisticated and refined compared to the other recordings of other conductors !!

Great performance. Wonderful playing. I think he cut back on number of strings so you can hear what’s there to be heard.
סימפוניה מספר אחת זה תמיד הנשמה, הנפש של המלחין לא הקב"ה. אין סימפוניה שיכולה לתאר אותו וזה לא אנושי בכלל! אך כן איך האני מאמין שלי בתורה ובהשם. הבנתם. סימפוניה 2 זה תמיד על בגרות ואוסטוביוגרפיה מוקדמת, או מחלחמה בין טוב ורע או משהו אחר. למשל הסימפוניה של אפל והמצאת האפל II והמק, ירידה ואחרי זה אני באתי עם האייפון לכבוש את העולם ולהרוג את החייזרים.
