The amount of hate lies and BS she received was insane. Things like 1 is fake, 2 it is someone else playing 3 no cable, 4 sped up 5 she has no "feeling" 6 she is robot 7 multiple takes and countless other stupid accusations. Imagine being a 17 yo guitar prodigy and the 40% of comments on social media were negative.

I think that "whistle" sound is what we call a pinch harmonic, and yeah.............. Tina is a master at that technique

  • @squidly2112

She is also using a lot of "tap harmonics" .. that is, tapping slightly on a particular fret (directly on the fret) to get a harmonic to sound. She really does tap harmonics well .. I find tap harmonics much more difficult to get just right as compared to pinch harmonics. Pinch harmonics, for me, are pretty easy, but tap harmonics are somewhat challenging.

Oh, and that tremolo, she started on a classical guitar when she was like 6 or 7, so that’s where she learned all of her proper techniques. There is a video of her in her first 8 years, and she almost never looked at the guitar. Always looking at the sheet music and knew that guitar neck at a super young age.

It's called effort. She spent years of her life getting this good. Most people don't have the discipline to get very far in anything they want to do. To be great takes great effort and hours and hours of practice. She wasn't on her phone or YT she was practicing. Talent will only get you so far training, practice and discipline is the key to success. And she's NOT poker faced, it's called concentration! THATS WHY SHE STOPPED POSTING cause more people commented on her face than her music. The ignorance of you guys is astonishing. So after more than half her life at the time learning and doing this ... that's what you noticed.... I would stop posting too. YOU are those like you are the reason she stopped.

I thought your comments at the end were really insightful. Nobody knows what Tina S. is doing, but it's o.k. Maybe she really is 'one of those people' that can do anything, and she is. I'm just going to go on a fan tangent and say I think her (purportedly) Catholic upbringing shows in her perfection. Her dedication to doing it 'well enough' is biblical. Her playing feels like the kind of thing only produced from total dedication to something otherworldly. I'm not religious myself, but I do get that.

Salud y Rock and Roll . 🤟🤟😊😊

Tina S is a schoolgirl who plays the guitar for fun, it's her hobby. She does not want to make it her job, she prefers her higher scientific studies. And she couldn't care less about the negative comments, she knows she knows how to play well. Of course she plays all the notes without making a mistake, do you often go to see classical concerts?? All the musicians of the symphonies play without making mistakes and without making faces, like Tina S !

Can't be sure of why she disappeared, but people gave her a lot of hate, saying she didn't feel a single note of anything she played and that's the only reason she could play so well. Basically the jealous, petty people of the internet tore her down to their level and at her age it may have just been too much for her.
