@@pileoftrash7601 i've been staring at the board and maybe i'm just dumb but I can't see checkmate in 3 😭. I'm trying to learn more about chess because of youtube algorithm. After Qe7, the black king has to go either d1 or d2. So what happens next? EDIT: I JUST SAW IT I'M DUMB

I’m so trash at endgames, I play about 400 points higher than tubbo until late midgame then I play even worse than him. Chess is suffering
The opening clip will never not make me laugh it’s funny af

umm, to the channel who made this, the match was against Neeko, not codemiko, they are different players, especially since codemiko is much worse at chess
this has nothing to do with the video but holy shit that intro made me jump (whoever that was that fell scared the shit out of me)
i keep seeing queen hi one check and win the other queen and no one mention it
Much much easier way is @ 3:36 1. Bg2 check, King g1 2. b h1, Queen e5 3. Queen Bx g2 Checkmate
The better way from 2:38 is 1. B g2, King e1 2. B h3, Rook h4 3. Queen h1, King e2 4. Q takes q at a8, Rook takes black bishop H3 5. Queen a7 check, King f3 6. Rook f6 check, King g2 7. Queen takes pawn f2 check, King h8 8. Queen f1 check , King h2 9. Rook f2 checkmate.
3:36 he missed Qh1
4:18 if he played Qh1 it's a free Queen, I believe, since the king must move out of check, you take with the queen
At 4:05 tubbo could have played Bh5 and if Neeko moved her rook tubbo had Qh1 winning her queen Edit: Bf5, sorry

Yeah but you expect him to find it when he didn't see free queen? I didn't think it was mate because the king can go to d2, and normally in those positions the king runs away. It's just that the pawn makes a mating net. I didn't even consider Qe7+ after I saw Kd2, but yes it is mate, nice one :)

@@gladsom9999 in example Qe7+ the white king can only move to 2 squares, KD1 and KD2, if KD1 then QE2+ only legal move is KC1 so after KC1, QC2 is checkmate, heres the annotation only: Qe7+ Kd1, Qe2+ Kc1, Qc2# now lets say white goes KD2, after KD2 black goes QE2 with check, if white goes KC1 then simply QC2 with checkmate. so white has to go KC3, after this QC2 with checkmate as the pawn on C5 covers both the D4 and B4 squares annotation only:(route 1)Qe7+ Kd2,Qe2+ Kc1, Qc2# annotation only:(route 2) Qe7+ Kd2, Qe2+ Kc3, Qc2#
