I think like they’re still testing out a lot in regards to their game. It’s funny because you look at the statistics, one or even both of them are leading every single category! Their individual skills are obviously there. Especially seen in the last game vs. Brazil… maybe Louisa is supposed to become more secure setting, which is why she went for high bump sets nearly every single time. They started to take more balls on two and quicker plays against Agatha/Rebecca and immediately dominated and won.

@@tb1989. They lack fundamentals and consistency. Their passing is shaky, with a negative effect on their struggling offense, and they have trouble finding good angles with their attacks. Lippmann in particular is blocked on an astonishing number of her spikes, a common problem for converted indoor players. (Kozuch had similar issues when she played with Ludwig.) All of that is well known to them, and they have been humble throughout their journey, never setting goals above their means, rather appreciative of what progress they have made in their partnership. I am happy for Laura who gets to play another Olympic Games, and for Louisa to be rewarded for her daring move to the sand. If they make it out of their Paris pool (which they should) and play well in the elimination round, yet fall short of the quarter finals and beyond, it will still have been a successful run, no matter what lofty goals some media people formulated in their names.
