Ludvig Åberg Takes Home Second In His First Major | The Masters
Спорт
Ludvig Åberg meets with the media following a Final Round 69, and a Second Place finish at the 2024 Masters, his first career Major.

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

One of his best qualities is that he never gets mad at a shot. Just lets it go and focuses on the ball in front. Pure class and a joy to watch

He also plays efficiently. So many guys address, then waggle, then back off, then waggle again. Its refreshing to see someone just go up and hit.
This kid will win multiple Masters. What a kid! Makes my old Swedish heart smile all day.
Thank you Ludde! You made Sweden proud, see you next year. Well deserved win for Scottie

You've made ALL of Scandinavia proud this week, as an Icelander I am so happy for you was rooting for you all week
Fantastiskt duktig golfspelare som har många bra år framför sig! 👏🇸🇪 Vi är många här hemma som både tror och håller på dig Ludvig!! 🏌⛳
The way Lugvig carried himself on Sunday, with his positive attitude through the ups and downs, is a great inspiration for all of us who play golf. Both he and Scottie demonstrated that staying in the moment and not getting frustrated is the way to enjoy the game and play your best.
Played all day with a smile, was a pleasure to watch. Doesn't mess around either, just hits it. Future champion, probably Scotties main challenger
this kid is special

Annika Sörenstam said that 1 year ago !
I immediately became a fan when I saw his swing on KZread. This one was close but I hope Ludvig wins a major soon!
Being this calm and collected is just so wonderful and encouraging. This guy just gives mankind hope.
Congrats Ludde. What a performance! You are already a superstar for us in Sweden. All the best to you in the future as well. Go for the max. No limits allowed.
It's just so cool when Ludvig breaks into his first language 🎉🎉🎉
This guy is going to be a stud… European golf is in fantastic shape going forward👏
Incredible performance. A star in the making. Let's hope Ludvig has a long prosperous career.
What a player ! Talk about living up to your own hype ….. congratulations 👏👏👏👏
I'm now a big fan of this guy, so cool under pressure.
My fav player in the world
His fluent English is awesome!
Off this result, it's easy to say the sky is the limit for Aberg. His poise and demeanor were remarkable given his position in his first major but only time will tell if he will garner HOF-caliber results.
Saw him at the Canadian Open last year and it was evident then he’d be special. What a swing and what a guy!

Most people immediately knew he was going to be a top player after Canadian open. College golfers always don't translate and people saw the swing and knew his chances of playing poor were small
His scorecard was a rollercoaster. Kid just kept fighting back. Well deserved.
What a Guy... What a Player...
What a performance!!!
Future multiple major winner.
Well done to Ludvig i was really hoping he could have won in his first major, which would have made history. But he will win a major soon.
Ludvig Åberg is from my mother's hometown, and Viktor Hovland is from my father's hometown. I'm excited to say the least.
För Sverige i tiden!
Luvig and Annika, country should be very proud...

Perfect golf course, no so perfect audio levels
Handsome young man. So wear accentuating colors on the biggest stage! Tiger had red, great color of Mars…… Ludwig needs a color consult for Sunday victory….gray is washout.
Clearly Rory is more than a few steps behind Scottie and Ludvig. Scottie has his impeccable iron play and around the green skills. Lud hits his tee shots on a rope and putts very well. Rory's time is dwindling, unfortunately

Why is the sound so low ? Please fix it

Aside from the fact that Swedish children start learning English in the third grade, he went to Texas Tech in Lubbock for four years. As a native Texan who is now a Swedish citizen since twenty years ago and living just twenty minutes from his home town, I could not be prouder and more excited! Love Ludvig!!

His English is unbelievable, not even a hint of an accent when he speaks
