Discovered this song from the Ukrainian Piano playing soldier. Three-ish years back.

My brother used to play this, I loved listening to him. He used to move and sway to the music as if it were part of him. My brother died the other day, he was 20. I favor the following of his tracks as well- Behind a Window, Eden Roc, Nuvole Bianche, and Dietro Casa Listen to the flute in the tracks Distacco & Promessa, the Guitar in Moto Perpetuo; Viaggio 2 is also quite unusual of Einaudi as it featured seamless chants But I leave you tonight with a three course musical meal...Duo Tramonti (The Two Sunsets) my favorite from his album "Echoes"; the tracks- "Night" & "Four Dimensions" both from his 2015 album "Elements"...Have a blessed night my friend & Let the music play on!

I don't understand a word, yet it still brings tears to my eyes how beautiful it is. I once hated Italian culture, and despised everything that reminded me of it, but I realized what made me despise everything simply wasn't fair. I will not specify what caused this. Nonetheless... Every time I hear this. I am sad, even frustrated, because I can not understand it. I desire to learn the Italian language, it is but a dream of mine. I live in a monolingual country. One cannot learn a language from books... Grammar, maybe. One needs conversation. Immersion. This comes from a once patriotic, and crazy Americano. I want you all to know I love your country, cultures and language.

Il Maestro Einaudi si è letteralmente innamorato del Salento quando per due anni consecutivi ha diretto la Notte della Taranta con anche Alessia Tondo, una delle edizioni più belle in assoluto. Questo pezzo meraviglioso è un suo regalo a quella Terra magica fatto dopo quella esperienza. Non scordiamoci che anche il più grande cantante italiano di tutti i tempi Domenico Modugno cantava in salentino. Lui infatti è nato a Polignano ma è cresciuto a San Pietro Vernotico e parlava regolarmente salentino (spacciandolo per siciliano che é molto simile, lo stesso ceppo linguistico. Il pugliese di Bari e Foggia invece è molto molto diverso perché del ceppo napoletano). Il salentino è un dialetto che come pochi si adatta alla musicalità e rispetto ad esempio al napoletano è molto più dolce nelle tonalità.

I dont speak Italian (i think it is) but its like I understood every word without even trying .....going thru a terribly hard time right now. I always reach for Ludovico and it always gets me thru

When einaudi plays it gives me joy and sadness in equal measures.i like this .his music would of accompanied the new Netflix remake of "Ripley" in that beautiful olde town Italian cove it's filmed in 😅

With music like this, who needs to understand the words...Utterly Amazing

This master piece makes me feel like everything in this world is perfect, as if everything is the way it should be, but at the same time it feel so melancholic, it makes me feel so happy.

Questo brano mi ha fatto piangere anche se razionalmente non posso sapere perché. Non avendo capito quasi niente delle parole. Evidentemente la voce e musica hanno toccato le corde del cuore. Cioè il ns. Sé interiore immortale che nessuna miseria morale umana potrà mai scalfire. Una musica altamente poetica, capace di evocare ambienti naturalistici e domestici agresti, dove l'uomo può ancora ritrovare il senso nella sua esistenza. Dove alla fine tutto passa; anche la Gloria del Mondo. Dove alla fine l'uomo può ritrovare solo se stesso, nelle piccole cose dei Valori umani verso la sfera dell'Eterno ritorno. Sicuramente solo un grande artista di alta sensibilità e competenza musicale.

I've never heard something so beautiful in my life. I'm not even sure what to say.

I play this on my school talent show,I say it to my family I dont care if I lose all I need is to share my playing and make everyone happy with this song I'll give my best (I used violin) my friend helped me he use piano, we won then when the awarding starts my mom hugs me so tight while crying she's so proud then my tears won't stop flowing I dont know why

I got this song from my piano teacher and it is absolutely stunning. I can’t stop playing it! I got 3 injections today in my arms (2 in my left and 1 in my right) and even though it hurts to open a door, when I play this song, I’m so distracted by the beauty of it that I forget about the pain.

One day i was browsing KZread and some random street piano videos pop up and i decided to watch it and then after watching some other videos suddenly this video popped up and i felt in love with this masterpiece. So i decided to take piano class from the day on. Today im so proud of my self that i can play this masterpiece❤️ it inspired to be a musician❤️

Really amazing !!

I've been battling suicidal ideation for around 16 years. I've tried the meds I've tried talking I just I just I every time I get to the point where the weight of it gets to me I listen to this on repeat until I breakdown. This song. This music. It's beauty. It's sincerity. The way allesia sings it with that tremble in her voice. The way ludivico plays it. It's melancholy it's visceral it's beautiful. It gives me a break from the ideation. I love it

I wish I could be watching myself playing this on my own piano and just feeling the music sink into my heart.

If a song is played at the gates to heaven then this would be the song.
