Well explained

A most excellent explanation of this ancient game which has many derivatives and "local" or "family " Rules. For young people, and sometimes for the different way that boards are marked (For example no Safety Squares), some rules can be dropped. For example, Blocked squares, which can be difficult to understand, the Bonus Roll and the Rule of Three Sixes. The Home Rule can be substituted with the Home Column Rule, where safe pieces have to be exactly located in the coloured column rather than getting into the Home Triangle (This can mean a pile up of pieces in the middle of the board). slighty different in france, no safe space,no double and the last line is numbered (1,2,3,4,5) you have to enter it with a 1, them move up with next number 2,3,4,5 and then finish of course with 6. if you do triple 6 you are sending one of your piece back to spawn and lose your turn

Yeah we also have a different version in Vietnam. 2 dices, no safety box, the board is a little different. and a few other rules

When your opponent has a blocked token, you have to create a block as well to capture it and send it back to the base.

It's parcheesi for people who lost one of the die. The second die makes it a bit more complex. But other than that almost identical.

Hi. I have a question:if you had the chance to kill another person when you had a chance buy you chose to go into your own column and thats what you do but everyone says Im out??

I've always thought home should be the base and base be the home.

A player's first piece can enter a home column with no condition apart from completing the clockwise journey.

That's because they both are variations of the same game 'Pachisi'.

What is the rule while playing with two dice and on both dice there's a six??? And if we roll again the dice because of the sixes then again there's is a six on one dice and some other number on the second dice.. so what should we do cancel the three sixes and pass the turn on to the other player or just can use the three sixes and other number too???? If anyone understood my question and know the rule in this condition tell me

When you roll three consecutive 6's, does that make your previous 6's null and void? Meaning, do you undo any moves you made with the first two 6's, or do you simply lose the third 6?

nah....the first two consecutive 6 are allowed, but not the third 6. But if your third bonus is another number, then you may move

@@mahmoudhazem1317 in another video I learned that if there is a doubled red piece for example and a single blue lands on top, then they both cant move. THEN in order to move, the double must be broken. And when the double is broken, the red piece that is left behind under the blue piece dies. Because the blue wad there for the kill....I hope that makes sense

I am from Czech Republic and we call it "Mate, don't get angry". It looks very different. The Ludo version confuses me a little.

What about your pieces if you roll the exact number to land on the blocked , can they land on the blocked and form triple block?

I'm not entirely sure but I think if you role the exact number to land on the blocked then you can 'block the blocked square' with your block so the other colour cant move its pieces until you do?

I think that only blocked pieces can send block pieces home so if a single green piece lands on a square with a red blocked piece the red blocked piece still remains on the board but just can't move until the green single piece moves

Aree some people have different rules according to there state they cheating with other peoples

I never used the double piece rule no body where im from uses to be honest it just makes the game boring
