I’ve always loved the song “Somewhere” from the musical “West Side Story,” and Lucy Thomas’ voice really carries the meaning of the song to us. I love the deep warm tones of her beautiful pure voice.

WOW, WOW. What a glorious rendition of this classic song. Unbelievable. Better than any version I have ever heard. Lucy is so talented and has a gorgeous tone with perfect pitch that puts her head and shoulders above most singers of her generation. Lucy is phenomenal. Only once in a lifetime does someone like Lucy come along! She makes a masterpiece of every song she sings!! We are all blessed to have Lucy spreading love and light in our troubled world. She is a gem!!

I was one of the lucky ones that got to attend to Lucy’s very first public concert in Manchester and I have not completley come down to earth yet. It was such a mindblowing experience out of this world like you wouldn’t believe. Her performances on stage was just so unbelievebly perfect. So besutiful and gorgeous, so controlled and so talented. It’s a breathtaking experience which you simply cannot miss out on. All the wonderful memories I recieved that evening will always have a special place in my heart and it is all thanks to the lovely Lucy Thomas!!

Dennis, the Manchester concert and the one you just reacted to are the same. All her fans are hoping she will release more songs from this performance and or a DVD!!!

Hi Dennis, i was one of the fortunate people to have attended the concert, when lucy walked out on to the stage she was definitely nervous, understandably as this was her first live public appearance, the audience gave her a standing ovation before she sang a note.! the love in the room was palpable, once she got into the song the nerves calmed and she produced what you have just witnessed, and to think that there were those that doubted she could sing live,!!! i believe that she has proven beyond doubt that she most definitely CAN. Lucy speaks with a Manchurian accent. Southerners would call it a northern accent, but for us, it sounds like a southern accent. I'm a Geordie, by the way, from way further north.

This song was sung in studio by Lucy before & from “Westside Story” from the approx 60’s. Natalie Woods was the star I believe. Lucy’s is a powerful version & other songs not released from this show incl 2 with sister, Martha. Lucy has a thick English accent which makes her singing even more amazing. If you go on one of her Facebook fan clubs, you can hear her spend about 2 minutes thanking fans for attending this concert in Manchester England. Powerful & beautiful & may she stay humble with her stardom

If you want to hear her speak, listen to her cover of 'Run To You', she speaks after the song. There's also interviews she has done when she was younger that can be found on youtube easily enough 🙂 We'd like to see you react to her speaking voice. She's from northern England, like me, so its not what you'd call a posh accent.

Lucy sang 17 songs,2 with Martha!,this is her first major concert,next one booked is in Tokyo in september i believe,up to then i think we will see the songs from her concert released every so often!,there is a video of Lucy speaking after one of her performances from a year or two back but can't remember which song!,Lucy has a soft northern English accent!😊

This is the only video released so far from the Manchester concert. But there are likely to be 16 more forthcoming, including 2 duets with Martha.

Another great Reaction Dennis - I agree with your take totally - she absolutely nailed it!! It is a beautiful song - somehow made more beautiful by Lucy singing it.
