@@cartiaking3377 Because it's unprofessional. The first thing you're taught when you sing onstage is "keep going no matter what happens". I had mic issues during an onstage performance once and I didn't get to stop - I just had to raise my voice and do my best until they got a new mic out to me. To just stop mid-performance like that is SUPER unprofessional. Also, have you ever worked customer service? Have you MET the human race? People yell at me every day for not being able to change the weather or the flow of time. I have had people personally blame me for the fact that snow was reported, but there was no snow on the ground. People will totally boo you offstage for stuff that wasn't your fault.

This was a fun take, that Bev isn't a bad person at all. Lonely yes, insecure yes, but Bev and Katie are terrified of the mother and it's really nice to see the toxicity of the mother puts all these awful things onto the daughters, insecurities ect, so I really enjoyed this.

They’re both being manipulated by the mother. But, Bev is bad for letting it happen, although the little brother stops her. Also, the little boy had more guts to stop what they were doing to Katie than Bev.

Tbh on the dates, she was coaching Bev. So when he was talking about song lyrics and Bev gave some to him, he fell with in love with her because she was just faking it to match Katie’s personality, so that he would like her. He actually fell in love with Katie because all Bev was doing was following Katie the whole time. If that makes sense. Probably doesn’t. 😂💀

I know that Bev didn't have to perform knowing that it's messed up to lip sync to her step sisters song, but I feel bad for her because it was really the mom that i wanted to suffer. I've noticed this when I've watched the whole movie again for the first time after 12 or 13 years, her lyrics is actually like telling them her situation and yet no one notices that. And Katie (Lucy Hale) was the one who writes from the tune, melody, to the lyrics, everything in her songs. So like basically, she's asking for help or wanting maybe the guy would notice. Just sharing. Anyways, really loved this scene. This very video was the one which kept me not forgetting about this movie. This is my favorite rendition of Cinderella, and I first watched it ever since I was maybe 9. And Lucy Hale's voice is just seriously so inspiring and beautiful and majestic, magical, and everything elses.

Look he did fall in love with the voice, that’s true, but he mostly fell in love with the meaning of the lyrics, of the personality of that girl who understood him, and connected it with the voice. He thought Bev understood him since she had that voice. Plus, she was faking her personality as Katie’s, so he didn’t even flirt with the real Bev, but more with Katie. So actually, I do think it is logical that he changes his mind quite fast :)

Lols stomping on the ipod is probably only going to break the screen. The rest of the functions on the ipod would probably still work just fine, at least those ipods. Also Lucy's voice doesn't fit Bev's face at all. I know it doesn't really matter, but I would still expect Bev to have a lighter voice, not as rich and full as Lucy's.

Yes remember when Bev was telling this line "Don't break my heart before I give it to you". That voice was scratchy and pathetic. Lucy's voice doesn't go with her face. There's such a difference, can't people see?

He didn’t just switch.. his passion/love was for Katie all along😊 he just didn’t know it wasn’t actually Bevs voice and answers. The one thing is.. I was thinking in this scene, would people (the crowd) actually believe that was Bev's ( I think that's her name) real voice? Because usually the case is that a person's face matches their voice, and you can kinda tell or you would think that Bev would have a lighter voice. If I heard that voice, I wouldn't really think it was hers, and I'd be suspicious. lol

No I don't mean that voices and faces come in pairs, but it's like having an idea of impression of what someone's voice would sound like when looking at them. For example, when you look at Bev, the voice you expect to hear from her is a light voice, or somewhat "girly" voice, not a medium-deep tone like Lucy's.

I know what you're trying to say but one of the things I found so amazing was that I actually believed it more than if the real singer was singing it for some reason o-o weird.

She is such an amazing actor and singer! She is so perfect!

I know Bev and her Mum were like evil or whatever but I really felt for Bev even in this scene. I remember where she told lucy hale that she deserved better, to be singing on stage unlike them

I have all of the a Cinderella story movies out of all of them I think this is one of my favorites

it's hard to believe, that such frigle girl, has so strong voice

I remember this scene like it was yesterday that i watch this❤

The little brother is so cute and he really wanted what was best for his olger sister even though they weren't blood they still had that brother and sister relationship. It was so cute how he helped her.

It's so ironic how the song actually fits the situation, Bev lied, but people believed her and in the end she got exposed.

She has such an amazing voice
