Immediately after posting my last comment, I googled Lucy’s mom. For a Mother’s Day celebration the three made a studio recording as a trio singing “Smile”. Be ready for mega chills.

There is no flaw, singing is perfect and effortless, what you have is the original already had an emotional tie which is difficult to forget. This is way better than original and had they sung it first there would be no contest. Perfect reaction

With the greatest of respect Lucy Thomas is on an entirely different level to those "Diva's" you mention, she isn't a Diva at all just the angel of the world and Martha isn't far behind her.

This is exactly the way David Foster would have his song, sung.

Lucy has had a musical called ROSEIE written for her, which is opening in the UK in March 2024. Hope this puts her on the world stage.

I wholeheartedly agree. I’ve heard it done by other artists, but none measure up to Lucy and Martha’s version.

I love both of them. They sound so beautiful together. Now after saying that I have to say that Lucy sings with so much emotion and depth, her voice touches my soul so deeply that I get chill bumps, tingles and my eyes water when I listen to her. I am totally captivated. She has an angelic voice. There is NO one that can sing this song as well as these two young ladies.

I'm 72, thought i was a tough guy but within 5 minutes was brought to tears by a couple angels.

Ohhh how lucky we are to have these 2 beautiful young ladies /sisters in our life that we can listen n marvel at the absolute brilliance of these 2 . Being a religious song it really delves deep into my soul just how heavenly they sound. Their sounds are so crystal clear n oh so smooth . How can I describe their smoothness other than to say it’s like it’s Golden tones echoing out high above the clouds. They take us on their journey n it’s like they are just singing to me! They are both Angels bringing such a special gift to us. Words are so hard to describe their talents n we are so lucky to be in their lifetime to experience the magic they bring to us. Mesmerising, hypnotising, notes / sounds that pierce our skin n go straight to the very soul in all of us. Pitch Perfect, Loving Looks , Angelic voices,- ohh these two can change our whole outlook on life

There are some very good up and coming young artists, but no one compares to Lucy… her voice is perfection on every level. And the harmonization with Martha is incredible. Can’t get enough of these exceptionally talented young ladies!

Larry, I believe in the last 2 days have watched 20+ vocal coaches, producers, vocal analysts, and critics, react to Lucy’s rendition of “ hallelujah”. Every one experienced the same reaction, dare I say impact, as you have expressed. You mentioned the Thomas gene pool, during one of the 20+ segments, Lucy and Martha were joined by their mom, who is equal to her daughters. I hope at some point the Thomas ladies will release an album with songs as a Trio.

I agree with all you have expressed. Lucy and Martha raised the standards with this performance to the highest level. Yes, for me this is the best version of this ever done. So powerful and filled with hope and love. I can never find enough words of appreciation to Lucy and also Martha. They are beyond compare and have absolutely nothing to prove as they are as close to perfection as anyone could ever hope to be.❤
